1. If a player goes above the 20-game limit, all games above the limit will be remade, same map/settings, with the above-the-limit player replaced. There will be no forfeitures or penalties.
2. The 12-hour fog rule will be in effect. The second team to join a fog game, if they have the first turn, must hold their attack for 12 hours or until a member of the opposing team alerts them that they got their snapshot. In the event that the 12-hour rule is breached, it is the responsibility of the offending team to provide their opponents with placement information that would have been readily apparent on the original map setup. Note that this does not necessarily include attack information.
3. In the event of a tie, a seven-game tiebreaker will be played. Each clan will create three home games, one each dubs/trips/quads, with the seventh game being Classic trips no cards chained sunny. A third map use is permitted, and no player may join more than two tiebreaker games.

In case anyone missed it ;)
Btw, Does 'Thota/Kort games played' refer to any map restrictions? Or just the players?

Before we get started here, I'd like to make a request of the clan community:

Everyone who's reading this knows what went down between Kort and Tofu during their semifinal bout. Everything that could possible be said on the matter has been said, Tofu has publicly buried the hatchet, and it really has no impact on the finals anyway. I see no reason to beat that dead horse here.

So I'd very much prefer it if we could all keep the outright flaming, along with unnecessary reminiscence about the the semis, out of this thread. Let's please keep all banter light and all commentary above-the-belt.

Thanks, and gl to both clans. This has been almost a year in the making, so let's have a good, clean, drama-free tilt.

It's the game count for players. Maps are a lot easier to keep track of. :D

just a comment first time i seen this 12 hour fog rule. does it not defeat the purpose of fog games.

I'm stunned. Why agree to these rules now KoRT? I'm not trying to flame or bait, but (1) did you decide the 21-game forfeiture rule was now a tad harsh and (2) can all your players magically wait 12 hours after months of being unable to do so against Empire, TOFU, etc.? Say what you will about (1), but (2) was an area of much consternation especially in light of multiple batches where members of TOFU left time for KoRT members to see the map in fog matches, while a few games where KoRT got the first start they gave no such courtesy. Hell, wasn't there a huge hoopla with Empire over the exact same thing?

Ah, what the [frank]. Here's a little flame - maybe with Josko on winter hiatus from middle school he's able to log in and take everyone's turns after waiting 12 hours. Mum not so strictly enforcing beddy bye?

I missed this part of it. you should not be allowed to change rules for the final, especially when a clan got ejected through one of them.

Have to say, I raised an eyebrow too when I saw the rule change. How did that come about?

Currently 29-22 TOFU-KORT (under the new rules that is) ;)

Anyway, don't wish to detract from expressing every best wish to THOTA. gl guys.

I can't believe I am saying this but....eddie2 has a point :-$

Nice to see that now that one clan has made a bunch of mistakes in the last round, they can turn around and follow completely different rules. Even though if these rules were the ones followed in the last round, a different team would most likely be competing against the apocalyptic horses.
