This will be a point based tournament with each side vying for the top spot. The tournament is based on the allied forces invading Europe to take it back from under German control during the second world war. The two sides will be the allied forces and the German forces. Each side consists of 8 generals and will battle throughout Europe, starting with the allied landing on D-Day. For any history buffs, please note that this is not a chronological tournament, simply an East to West battle across Europe.
Each player will sign up for a side, with 8 players on each side. In each round, there will be X number of German generals vs X number of allied generals (See progress of tournament below) with each allied/German win gaining their side a point. After round 4, or possibly 5 depending on a tie, the side with the fewest points will be eliminated with the remaining 8 generals battling for singular European dominance. There will be two more rounds after that to determine the winner and Warload of Europe.
I will need 16 players and 2-3 subs. You can choose which side you wish to fight for, or just post doesn't matter and you will be assigned a side once the tournament fills up. Freemiums are permitted to play as long as they keep one slot open for the tournament, and 97% attendance is required for all players.
All game slots will be filled randomly with even number of allied/German generals. All games will be standard, sequential, automatic deployment, flat rate spoils, unlimited reinforcements and sunny.
