Can someone enlighten me on how 'leagues' have been ran in the past at CC?

I am fairly new to CC, but have extensive online esport tournament experience and want to have an idea on how the League Structure has usually been set up here.

3v3, 2v2?
one map, bo3, bo5, etc..?
1 map/match a week, open schedules, set schedules... etc..

Just curious what some of the more basic settings have been.

I would like to run a very competitive high ranking league..but would like to know details on how they have been run in the past.. so I can change it up a bit.

I think you'll need to go and check out the various "League Tournaments" yourself. I don't think anybody is going to give you an answer that covers it all....

ok.. I can check out the tournament structures..but I was hoping for LEAGUE structure. Not a tournament that ends at at certain point..but any 'leagues' that have been ongoing and have set schedules weekly against specified opponents. What are some of the basic structures used in the past if any?

example.. the English Premier League (euro soccer league) or the NFL. Or.. just a basic TEAM event structure.

I have some ideas.. I guess I can post them and get some feedback.

As Lx said, you need to check them out yourself. I think there isn't a single sports league that hasn't been ran As much as I remember just by heart: English, Italian, Spain, Estonian, USA soccer leagues; NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL (?); NCAA football, basketball and wrestling; Australian soccer, baseball and football (I think).... I'm sure there are plenty of more, just don't remember/know them all.

If you have more specific questions, post them here or drop me a line, I'm sure we can find answers to them just can't help you with this one more.

Oh, there have been big 1v1 leagues (1 ran by myself and not long ago Lufsen75 finished Bring It On!!!). Currently there should be active a doubles league. I'm sure there have been attempts and even succesful ones before. TLO 2010 (ran by Lindax) can be counted as a huge league.

Really not sure what you are looking for.... Just run something that you like or put out some ideas and I think we can figure out which ones haven't been ran before in CC so you can make something original in the sense of CC.
