- I think that adding Nuclear spoils to the game was a great addition to CC however considering what Nuclear actually does it seems like it would be good to segregate it from the 3 types of spoils and add a category of "Spoils Type".
- If you separated it from the other 3 and allowed it to become its own category called "spoils type" radio boxes that represent "Standard" and "Nuclear" could be added. Standard would be the default checked radio button.
- You would get additional game types for people to play as well as maintain the same spoils functionality nuclear already has by simply selecting "no spoils" + "nuclear".
Uprising (New Spoils Type)
Concise description:
- In the vein of Nuclear spoils this would wipe out the existing armies in a territory and replace them with a number of neutrals equal to the armies that were in the territory.
- When caching in spoils the territories that match the cards would be replaced by the same number of neutral armies as the existing army count.
- This would add another spoils type and strategy to the game. (when added to my combined spoils/spoils type suggestion above it would expand game types even further)
Revolution (New Spoils Type)
Concise description:
- In the vein of Nuclear spoils this would wipe out the existing armies in a territory and replace them with armies of a random player equal to the armies that were in the territory.
- When caching in spoils the territories that match the cards would be replaced by the same number of armies as the existing army count and a random player selected as the new owner of the territory. In an 8 player game you would have a 1 in 8 chance of quelling that revolution.
- This would add another spoils type and strategy to the game. (when added to my combined spoils/spoils type suggestion above it would expand game types even further)
Famine (New Spoils Type)
Concise description:
- In the vein of Nuclear spoils this would reduce the armies in a territory however it would only be reset to 1 and not set to neutral.
- When caching in spoils the territories that match the cards would be replaced wit 1 army of the same player that holds the territory.
- This would add another spoils type and strategy to the game. (when added to my combined spoils/spoils type suggestion above it would expand game types even further)
