I could be mistaken, but that looks like an early 00s beetle in the first picture. I'm not sure such a car would be in a mid 90s film.

But I've never seen it, who knows?

Good point, I was going by the box on the stone wall in the last pic. Now that I think about it, I don't think God even set it on the wall in that film.

Read it and enjoyed it- Apt Pupil is a good movie from the same book too. Still haven't seen Stand by Me though.
