Nyvek, you are intriguing, trying to spin this all. I'll go back an reread and comment. But I'll

Indeed, I may be totally going at Marv wrong, but I've seen this going on, and it feels weird to me. And now he's gone for a few days, so I don't know. It leaves me in a hard spot, because we can't get any discussion going with him. Anyways...

OK I couldn't find where I voted RK already, I think I may have been giving him more time to come post something substantial. But he hasn't, and appears the most scummy to me now, so
VOTE RK
If he comes back and starts participating, instead of just coming to regurgitate info posted by others and vote, then I'll remove my vote. But right now, I can't recall a single post of value from him, or even that many posts at all.

I'd like to point out Rev curious about the information I have, as is Sully, and Nyvek...just incase anything happens tonight to me.I agree that I've been cryptic. Its been a part of my strategy. I'm am generally not trying to confuse everyone, though I may have been.Ok Andy, I gotta call bullsh*t on that one. Have you realized how cryptic some of the stuff you’re posting is? Are you trying to confuse people? Because I will be the 1st to admit, yes I’m very curious to know where the scum are. Yes, I have no idea what you’re attempting to convey in your mysterious posts. Am I supposed to just shrug it off and say, “I’m sure Andy knows what he’s talking about. I better just wait for him to rescue us,”? Here’s some you’ve left us to analyze:
AndyDufresne wrote:Xenhu has played the noob card before, and it turned out he was a noob.
What that all means, of course, I am not sure! Perhaps he is a no longer a noob but still acting like a noob to fly under the radar, or perhaps he still is a noob! This was an old reference to my last game, where he played the noob card and was a noob. I wasn't sure if he learned to play the noob card all the time or not.Would you mind at least leaning to 1 side or the other here?
AndyDufresne wrote:Aww, wicked would miss me!Anyways, regarding Xenhu, when I first started reading about it, I was suspecting it was something carryover from the last game (that or his utternoobness, as I spoke about earlier).
And wicked, you think I might be a mafia threat? Hm, I thought about that also when I signed up, or more specifically, I'd be a target...much like you were first targeted in my last game (though the doc saved you)...and much like Moz was the first target in the previous last game.
One thing to definitely consider, definitely look closely at who dies tonight...is it a more noob person, someone middle of the road, or someone with more esteemed status?
I don't really also have any people on my suspect list. I'll go back through and read things, and get them in my mind a little better. There are a few patterns I'm noticing, which I'll comment on later, just to make sure they are patterns, and aren't just random consistencies.
Regarding the bandwagon, once it gets going, you know people will hop on. It is inevitable. Always good to take note of who does, and who doesn't...or at least reasons for either.Mmhm, I indeed have tried to remain neutral. As long as I am alive, I can help the town for sure. And honestly, I'm NOT AFRAID of a lynch, because I know I won't be. I might be night killed maybe, not certainly not Lynched (You like that? Cryptic, huh?I think those are a couple good tips to look for clues, but you really didn’t take a stand on anything in particular. Almost as if you’re trying to remain Neutral in every situation. At the moment, I couldn’t find any votes by you.)
AndyDufresne wrote:Well, that was unexpected!AndyDufresne wrote:Or was it a triggered event?AndyDufresne wrote:Hm, perhaps a mid-day death will be a frequent thing, from here on out? To keep the game from going on for months? Or something else? But, best not to get set on an idea...as things aren't always as they appear (I.E. Finn Rock deaths - 0, 1, 2...the next wasn't three, but it looked like it could've been). That was in reference to my last game, where much of the town was seeing things and events that weren't happening. They thought the kills were increasing...but it was all dumb luck that it happened like that. Not always as they appear.Again, the ominous hinting. Don’t get set on an idea? No problem there. Because I have no idea what the idea is in the 1st place.
AndyDufresne wrote:Hm, I hope I don't get in any cross fire or revenge killing during the night! As I stated earlier, it's best for me to stay alive.Random, I’m a townie post. Who have you killed that would want revenge?
AndyDufresne wrote:I think I know who Master Bush investigated the first night also. We should take a closer look at his voting record also...
Being curious CAN BE A BAD thing. I've seen it many games, where people push power roles out into the open when it was uneeded. Sometimes in Mafia Games, IGNORANCE is bliss. If you don't know, or at least don't speak about something, maybe the mafia won't pick up on it either.Being curious, if that’s a bad thing now, Sully did just what you advised:
AndyDufresne wrote:I agree, not much here to help.sully800 wrote:Alright, looking at all of MB's posts I didn't find a whole lot that stands out.
He voted for wicked, then unvoted her and voted for xenhu. So perhaps he investigated wicked and found her innocent, but I don't think we can prove it with a simple vote/unvote.In due timeCOMMENT:This being the only lead on MB’s investigation that you’ve released, you state was not much help. Why would you point reference to something that has “not much here to help”? Why not just point Sully to the indicator, if there is in fact one?(Cryptic, huh?
)
I'm almost positive I know who MB investigated...He also told fircoal to stop being rude right near the end. I don't think that means anything at all, but if I'm reading red bull's posts correctly he thinks fircoal is innocent, perhaps because MB investigated fircoal? I see no proof of that since their only interaction (that I found) was MB saying "stop being rude fircoal"
Damn right, why would I want to endanger someone NOT IN DANGER?Almost positive, still not sharing.
[quote[Take as much time as ya need.
AndyDufresne wrote:I've got to head out for a while, hm, it'll give me some time to think a few things over.
Thanks, I appreciate the love.
AndyDufresne wrote:I agree with Rev about waiting with the SK.
Also, FOS Red Bull. He's either just a plain noob, or a noob mafia. Take look at his posts...he always seems to be trying to stray us away with some thought...that is rather unbacked up.
Mmmmh, hmm?COMMENT: “Trying to stray us away with some thought…that is rather unbacked up”, interesting you would mention that.
AndyDufresne wrote:I've also noticed some interesting little 'alliances' (for lack of a better term) going on...and am I interested in how that acts together.
Regarding me knowing MB's investigation, I'm still sure I know, but I'd like to see some subtle confirmation from the party that it is alright to clarify further. Don't want to be getting anyone killed
Again, refer to my post about not endangering someone who's endangered. Now sure, but a safety issue has intervened.
AndyDufresne wrote:First, I'd like to start with what I hate...Submarine Players...I.E. under the radar posters:
- Sam Jam, was fishing for info on page 3, though only minor. But hasn't been very active.
COMMENT: Question. You fingered Sam Jam for fishing on page 3. Why didn’t you mention Mach forcing a Roleclaim out of Red Bull? Or bringing up the Doctor after that? If your connected to Autoload, you would have known Mach was in his pocket and wouldn’t do anything against him.
When I wanted to post my first large post, I was pretty damn sure that Marv and Mach were mafia, or masons. I thought mafia. But then I saw what happened, he was a cop, and then I saw autoload and he said he was mason with him. Then I put the pieces together with Marv.
Dcowboys, few posts...latched right on to Xenhu bandwagon on page 5.
Lt. Mustard, just not very active.
Kernal_K, general inactivity, playing the noob card.
Trestain, quick votes on page 8.
Those are the few odd balls that pop out, in regards to activity or lack there of.
Secondly, interesting to note on page 2...supercram butted heads with Fircoal, and even voted. Perhaps it was an elaborate mafia plan (or perhaps they are in opposing mafias, if there are more than one), but something to consider, since Supercram is confirmed Mafia.
Thirdly, Puff's posts strike me as odd...I'm not sure why. Perhaps the general lack of content...and his will follow bandwagon on page 11.
Hindsight.COMMENT: Secondly and Thirdly being 2 doctors.
AndyDufresne wrote:Fourthly, Marv asks about identities and about fircoal being mason. It's ture we've used that in past games, but at the current moment, there doesn't seem to be a need to reveal such information. Interesting nonetheless.
Keep building your case budCOMMENT::I agree, forcing roleclaims is definitely not protown strategy. Again, no mention of Mach’s fishing.
AndyDufresne wrote:There's more I'd like to talk about, but hm, I can't get it all straight.
Thanks for the love, I can see you really care.COMMENT: Np, let us know when’s a good time.
I said these, incase I died in the night. When I signed up for this game, I thought I'd be a big target right off the bat, as I'm well known around here for my Mafia Games. I wanted to make sure that I atleast stated a few names that were suspicios.Ooh, one last thing. I'd like to point out Rev curious about the information I have, as is Sully, and Nyvek...just incase anything happens tonight to me.
Sully is very good at playing Pro-Town while being Mafia, so I wouldn't put it past him. He's tough to get a read on. RK, as VGN and others recently pointed out, seems off kilter, I agree with that. You, who knows? I have no idea who the hell you are!And then there’s the name drop. Mine included, which of course prompted the post. Please understand I’m not trying to be an ass or spiteful. But if you are really protown, why in the hell would you say something like this?
Unless you honestly think me, RK and Sully are mafia, you’ve just given the mafia a vehicle to frame all 3 of us. Not only is that reckless, it’s manipulative to the other townies. Your statement implies there is something negative about being curious. And let’s not forgot to notate your “fear” of not making it through the night.
AndyDufresne wrote:Anyways, AK, can we get a TIME DEADLINE? Just to keep things in perspective.
AndyDufresne wrote:AK, can we get a deadline update?
I started the whole 'DAY/NIGHT DEADLINES' for Mafia Games in CC Forums. I've seen how hectic days can be, when it comes down to the last hours, and there isn't a lynch. I didn't want that to happen. I'm always concerned with time, and I will continue to be.This one lost me. In all the posts of yours with: I need time to think about it, this looks interesting, I’m not sure, I’ll get back to it later. Now you want to speed up lynching? Why? You’ve requested a deadline on both days and still haven’t voted. What’s wrong with having discussion before coming to a decision? Would you rather we get called with a no lynch? If that happens, only the mafia decide who dies.
AndyDufresne wrote:I figured someone would think I'm suspicious, and granted I sort of have been. I wanted to post them during the last day, but the deadline was during the afternoon, a time which I am unable to post. So it got pushed off.
Yes, indeed. Working during the day must be a damn crime! Lock me up!The deadline that you requested.
AndyDufresne wrote:Well jeez, this has all turned the rather boring day into something!
Lets not be too hasty with voting autoload into oblivion just yet.
This was an odd post, I give you that. But I wanted to post my large thought out post, so I could get it out there before the damn night came (like the previous day).Ohhhh, now that Autoload’s head is on the chopping block, let’s not be too hasty?
AndyDufresne wrote: And sully has jumped out me also, he's always asking for information from the people.
Certianly asking some questions in some ways can be. Refer above a ways.Again, implying asking questions is wrong.
AndyDufresne wrote:Master Bush didn't clear or finger anyone, but I think I know who he investigated.
I'll let you know when the time is right.Well, maybe after the game is over, you can tell us.
And to sum it all up. I'm confident I will not be lynched today, or any day.
(You like that, Cryptic huh?)

Hmmm, Nyvek's post was good and made me suspicious of Andy, but ANdy's replies cleared most of it up. But what if Andy was the one who did what he says that Marv did. He could be framing Marv.

Wow, excellent posts from a few people. I am still wary of Andy and I am wary of Nyvek too. I found myself agreeing with both of them in each of their long posts, but I still feel like they may be spinning a web. I'm extremely intrigued that Andy repeatedly said he can't/won't be lynched. If the answer is can't then that is a power I have never heard of in mafia, but does make things interesting. Then again, perhaps he is fulfilling his own prophecy- by saying that, people won't want to try and lynch him because it may end in a no lynch, and therefore he made himself unlynchable
I don't think we can lynch marv, at least until he returns. Lynching a man who can't defend himself is a very bad thing if he would turn out to be a townie power role (that is if there are any power roles left to pass out!)
Senfive I've had bad feelings for pages now, but I'm beginning to trust him more.
Here's the current problem in my eyes- we still have people slipping under the radar!
-Marvaddin
-sam jam
-geegel
-Huguenots
-reverend_kyle
-moz976
-trestain
I guess Marv is excused since he's not here, but we can't give him immunity for that forever.
Sam Jam was on Andy's inactive list before as I keep forgetting. He's had a few posts since then but I can't even remember he is in the game.
Huguenots and geegel are the replacements, but we haven't heard anything from them other than a 'checking in' post.
RK has been posting but never does anything except regurgitate exactly what another player says, or makes a joke and disappears again.
And when was the last time we have heard from moz and trestain!? Well I'll answer my own question- trestain hasn't posted since the 13th and moz hasn't posted since the 16th, right when this day began.
I think we should be voting for people from this list, and our cop should be investigating people from this list, because we will never be able to find out about them any other way. And if the game comes down to 3 people with an inactive poster left, the active townie will be in very hot water to decide who they should side with.
With that I will vote sam jam. Give me a reason to believe that you are not just a hiding member of the mafia! (I'm not asking for a role claim, I'm asking for some informative posts...)

Anyone have any insight on why a mafia member was killed at night?
and did anyone get any intel last night?

Sully, I agree Moz, Trestain, and Houssam have been barely around.
One thing I do know, Moz is unable to post much on the weekends, he's stated that in other Mafia games I can recall. Wicked can shed light on Houssam, but I don't know about Trestain.
It would be nice if Marv could defend himself, but he isn't around, so that puts all my stuff to a halt.
I agree with RK is odd. I could consider voting for him, or one of the inactive posters perhaps.
In regards to the replacements, I think they will be useless. They have too much to catch up on, and it will be tough to get a read on them.
By the way, I like your logic in regards to me. It makes me chuckle. In Nyvek's long post, he posted something interesting about me, which might shed some more light on the matter of me and him at hand.

Thanks. I love barrels. Are the others good looking!
No - seriously. I have been reading. a lot. and voting. mostly right. But I don't have any theories for the moment. The one thing about this game is that IC seems to have put in there a lot of new (at leat to me) types of roles. Andy for instance is clearly claiming some sort of lynch-immune role. The whole multi-dimentional mafia-infused masonry thingie was also new to me.. so I am carefully trying to take all of this in. I am sorry but I am usually not in the habit of posting just to make the roll call - rest assured, as soon as I have something concrete on you O great Drufsene one, I will come after your ass soooo hard that you will not know what hit you, and let's see about your lynch immunity then!!

Also- I didn't single Houssam out because I think he's been posting enough. He's probably on the lower end of the active posters, about where marv and vgm have been I think. But I think they are all fine in terms of content (or at least marv would be if he was around).

I also finally have a new theory regarding Master Bush's single investigation as the day cop. As Nyvek reiterated Andy said he is almost positive he knows who it was and never named the person. I tried to find proof before but I couldn't....I still can't find any proof but I have an idea that I think makes some sense. Like Andy though, I will have to leave that topic as a mystery for now.
once again, sorry about the low posts, but my parents (yes, i still live with them) told me that i cant come on until 6 pm Central time (except for right now, they're gone
). this game is getting so confusing that i cant wrap my mind around it. most people look suspicious except for rojo and fircoal. with everybody accusing each other and lots of people looking suspicious, there is no way to tell where to place my vote. i know this hasnt poped up at all since andy's post where i was accused of role-fishing but i want to clarify why i said what i said. this was a huge game and i hadnt had any experience at it. i was trying to find the normal amount of people for each role. now that all these other roles have come out, i dont think there can be a definitave anwser. i am pretty sure there is sk or vig out there instead of two familes. the reason for having "vanillia mafia" next to 2 of the people that have died is because they would have come up as a townie when a cop investigated them. im suspicious of some people, but im not going to throw out names yet, i could easily be wrong.
