Too true sir. I've tried getting triples/doubles games going in the past. Either there's not much interest in them here or no one wants to be my teammate. It's quite possibly the latter that's the problem.

The reason is likely that you are more successful if you work with someone you really know, so randomly assigned teams are not popular.

We should apply this usual password system to speed games too, so lets try something..

If you start a speed game and dont want those lower ranks joining, put the usual PW on it, and if you see a private speed game waiting for players, try the password and see if it works, if it does, then its a 2000+ speed game

Not sure if this will work considering the chances of a few people who know the usual PW browsing through speed games at the same time might be fairly low, but I figured it would be worth a try anyway to see how it works out.

I'll probably wait a day or two to start one myself to give more people time to see this post.

So, i decided to make a game with the most random settings/map i could think of.

If you want to play something completely different, join this

6 player, assassin, sequential, no cards, adjacent, fog.
Map = Siege

you know the password

EDIT: i made some more random games
all settings except for number of players and turn order have been chosen using random.org, including the map

1094930 - standard, no cards, chained, no fog, on Middle Earth
1094935 - terminator, flat rate, adjacent, fog, on Benelux
1094939 - terminator, no cards, unlimited, no fog, on US Senate

Some of you want to join a high ranked triples game but could not find the right games. If so, we like to play with you

My regular team mates and I are setting up 2 games. Be warned, our 3rd member is not 2000 rated but our team averaged above 2000 per player. Naturally we expect your team to be of the same ratings per player

I dont think we should set up cc2000 games with players less than 2000... or much less anyways....... certainly post such games here, but use another password, that can be pmed or something...

nothing against you guys of course at all, but if everyone set up cc2000 games with corporals and lower rank players, they would just be regular games

Hey guys my rank wavers a lot between lieutenant and captain. Am I allowed to join games even if I don't end up being a captain through the entire match. If I join as a captain and drop to lieutenant before the game starts do I have to drop the game. thanks

I believe you're fine as long as you're a Captain when you joined.
