I don't really watch Russian news. Unfortunately I don't understand enough of it yet, though I doubt the news media would even mention it they tend to avoid news that makes Russia either A:look mean, or B:does not involve Putin or Medvedev somehow. They made a fuss about it in Canada the defense minister had a press conference and everything. I suspect to justify the purchase of new fighter jets, which I think are justifiable those CF-18's aren't getting any younger.

Thanks! They are supper cheap here around 150-200 rubles in the right stores. I intend to go back and pick up some more they are very comfortable.

The light blue is the paratrooper and spetsnaz variety, there is also Green for the border guards, black for naval infantry and OMON wear red as well as some spetsnaz units attached to MVD. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telnyashka)

I knew the light blue was for paratroopers/spetsnaz before wiki cheating though.
OOPS! Ol' Saxi was off by several shades of color. :(
I have a light blue as well. I thought it was army, not paratroopers

I'm not sure, it was her friends, we were at her athletic banquet and it was the only extra shirt her friend had. But I think it's a shirt from Caldwell track shirt from here in Texas.
