Cairnswk can you fix the big version since it's smaller.Blurriness is for that reason DiM. When he exported the file probably resized it.

+5 BW and +5 FW (with the rest as given above) is what i actually have in mind, since both look easier bonuses than +6 FL. however, we can by all means try +6 BW and +6 FW first if u think it more fitting: my main concern here is to equalise the attractiveness of BW against FW, with the FL comparison being secondary because there's less interplay between FL and either BW or FW.

btw i like the altered attack line for the british across the top to make it easier to move to the french/spanish ships

Can I just say how much I enjoy this map, except for the m*$)%ing territs with duplicate names? Jeebus, that's a pain in the arse. Yes, I know there's a little (B) or (F) or whatever on the dupes, and historical accuracy is important, but is that really a good thing? Especially if you don't use BOB?

I wouldn't disagree with that. It would be nice if their were no duplicates.

I don't know what happened but there're a couple of things to improve on the small version before to upload the files:

Left legend, why the titles (the black text in general) are now so bright?


Again on the left side, "the king's victory" and "vive l'empereur!" are unreadable

Some pages back (and i don't have time to search for it, there was a reqauest that someone couldn't read these headings properly. But this is well back. So they were strengthened in colour. The red behind British is now the same red that applies to the "The King's Victory", but obviously that would hideous on the map, so the map is the colour that it was several eons ago.

Again on the left side, "the king's victory" and "vive l'empereur!" are unreadable

on the new connection....it was asked for a given, and even though there have been no comments i am sure we would have heard by now if this had caused major issue.

on the duplicate names...there are only two, they are two different colours, and some distance apart...at some time i beleive that even with situation being of historical nature, players must also take some responsibility to examine what they are doing to ascertain the difference between the two duplicates.

I am happy to leave things as is, unless there is a hurricane force for change.
