Spoils is not quite right i think.... maybe BOOTY would be better.

But do you really want to play a No Booty match? There's precious little booty in my matches now, I don't want to eliminate all possibility of booty.

I believe CM is Yeti's second priority. He's doing BOB first then CM after. I believe he said he'll be working on CM tomorrow.

I never knew how much I relied on it till this. Even for standard repeating order of turns in a predetermined fashion (sequential).

HA I am 33! I guess I should take this as a compliment. Anyway, even if CC/Salamander Software represents itself in a pro se capacity, you can always ask for summary dismissal of a frivolous case. Again, I think that sharing what was sent to CC regarding this matter -- naming the names -- would help a lot.

I think we are being over paranoid here about changing EVERYTHING. You could have the classic map but instead of Congo just have Angola or something like that....

A lot of bitching! Again! Here's a question, might it be possible for some of the codemonkeys to create some sort of plugin that would let us play on the old classic? It would avoid both copyright and user issues, methinks. Of course, it would have to be done on the down-low...

This is all going to shit . . . freaking lawyers !! First the rating system wasn't too bad - i used to love reading what people would write - that shit was funny; now we deal with two of the best maps being demolished . . . and why - no one has given ANY reason except copyright stuff. We have 100,000 people on this site, and most are premiums - i guess and we all pay $25 a year (2.5 million a YEAR if that adds up correctly) why not have HASBRO sponsor the site - free advertising for them - or a kickback on all new players who pay ?? something has to work here ?? Is anybody really in contact with HASBRO or whoever has the copyright to RISK ?? I know LAWYERS who ARE on the site and PLAY EVERYDAY !!!

there has got to be an answer or people will just start dropping this site . . .

fix the maps, fix the dice, no more ASSAULT and REINFORCE crap . . .

it will be a shame to see this site go down . . . DO SOMETHING !

I once read that Midkemdil this, but I can't remember where. Apparently that map is based on something but with some modified "region" and "zone" names. Maybe Ontario becomes Onterrio. Indonesia becomes Islandy Area. So forth and so on.

This had better be a temporary classic until they get a better one. The classic map was pretty much why I joined, and I don't think I would've joined if they had this kind of shit classic map, and I think new membership will go down a lot if they don't get a better one. Also, what's with the dice? I don't really care either way, the new ones are fine and they don't really make a difference, but how does Hasbro have a copyright on dice with the six pips? And there are only 23,000 people on the site, btw.
