Yeah, the only thing that's probably been suggested more is Pangaea. Anyway, it really depends on how the mapmaker applies the idea to make it playable. This is the kind of map that could be really cool, but only if it is the theme is correctly applied.

I don't see continents in it. sure there's the arms legs and head, maybe torso is one, but what makes the map special?

OH! It just hit me! Don't play for the entire body, just the cardiovascular system. The heart would have all sorts of territories... Left atrium, ventricle, etc, and the blood vessels would connect it to the lungs. I suppose you could have the nervous system in there too. The brain and spinal cord, the nose and eyes, the nerves. Both systems would be connected in the brain. That would be great.

Prison sounds kinda like CCU. It has all those things, but you can't connect to it. There needs to be something personal to the design. it has to have some flare... Maybe if it was jailbreak, or it was based off the TV show or something...

Haha We were doing a political cartoon about the Age of Exploration, which my friend colored (with crayons). I kinda did this instead.

Anybody have any ideas for a theme? Because that's why its just a "doodle".

A prison map sounds like fun. There's opportunity for fun features like one-way doors, guard-tower bombardments, escape tunnels...

I think a CC Prison has plenty of potential for distinction without a back story, but if you want to build from a real/fictional base, I'll toss out The Great Escape as an option.

I know the next Harry Potter book and movie are coming out this month, and i was thinking that a harrypotter map would be awsome.

FOr continens(territories) you could have

-The great hall (each of the 4 house tables, teachers table)
-Each of the 4 houses (common room, dorm room)
- owlry
-class rooms
-outside--the stadium quiddich is played in, the forbidden forest
and so much more....

I love harry potter, but do not believe that your typical map can cover it, just simply haveing the castle and grounds with houses and such is useless and i would take some skilled image working to work it with the castle, secret passages, etc. Even then I don't think the map would have a lot of support unless there was something that really set it a part or it was spectacular looking

and polls that have that many options don't tell you a lot

You are right riggable. It would be exactly the same, only wide.

I think keeping it long is the way to go, there will be ways to avoid choke points...

I'm working on ideas.

definitely... however it would have to be the MARAUDERS MAP... that might work... if you can find a good image... and get pass copyright problems.... but it has been suggested check the foundry

looks boring, why not just play germany, another map that is a blob with territories... maybe you should find a topographical map so the natural boundaries can be seen. i just don't see the appeal of this map, unless you live in the state. otherwise, looks boring...-0

While I agree that "Is this a good idea" polls are stupid and probably should be banned, I don't think an image is always necessary.

For example the Napoleonic wars thread has plenty of room for discussion before an example needs to be shown.
