The blocking is a start but what about the points he won through the cheating? He should have a score reset as well.

if no cheating had occured he would not have bloicked you from playing with your friend. He was just too lazy and didn't want to go further in this investigation.

Hey all, I'm back. Sorry for letting this case hang around (then again most of the 6 pages was developed in 1 day

First things first:

When I sent Warsteiner the warning in October, the requirement for gamechat to be in English was new. I sent them the warning to make them aware of the rule because it had just been added. I know that many people on the site are not native English speakers and are more comfortable with another language, such as Dutch. However that is not fair to other players, and Warsteiner appears to understand that because they stopped speaking in Dutch in the gamechat. So that situation was taken care of.

As for the debate at hand- it is true that Warsteiner has made multiple alliances with strakkebillen, but its also true that he does that with different players in all of his games. The fact that he sometimes is allied with strakkebillen and sometimes nothing is announced does not indicate a secret alliance by itself.

That being said, it does seem like strakkebillen attacks Warsteiner less often than other players. Perhaps that is intentional, perhaps not....there is not enough evidence to prove that this is intentional cheating, especially on Warsteiner's behalf. But the pattern is pretty clear, and I support King Achilles fully in his decision to block Warsteiner and strakkebillen

However a point reset and stripped premium are not in order. Unlike other cases where we had personal testimony from multiple people to serve as evidence, all the data in this case is conjecture. Warsteiner has won a lot while strakkebillen is in the game, but he wins a lot when strakkebillen is not there as well. Unless strakke were to come on here and tell us that Warsteiner asked him to cheat, there is no evidence to indicate it ever happened.

well I even warned Warsteiner and Bladin that I would be personally watching their games together. yesterday they figured they would not listen to my warning. They played this game "together" as secret alliances.

Game 1533121

you will clearly see Bladin cashing in a set of cards and suiciding poo maker to leave the game for Warsteiner to clean up. The best part is, Poo maker had no cards to collect leaving Bladins attack just totally rediculous. After Bladin used all his forces vs Poo, Warsteiner ran the table to win the game.

Seriously mods, how many times does a player need to be warned and blocked? How many of Warsteiners friends from the Netherlands are going to be permitted to play with him so he can climb the scoreboard?

when is enough-enough?

Ok, JR wasn't playing or watching the game, so he can't really say what happened... very accurately.

What happened was... Bladin, Warsteiner and I were all setting up to kill yellow. I had 0 cards as i had just cashed in a 3 card set... I can't remember the cards that the other 2 had. I had 2 armies. 1 of 25 and another of 47. I used my army of 25 to take some of yellows 1's and 2's....(yellow had 3 cards btw) then, i used my army of 47 to take bastogne.... leaving only 3 countries( beind bastogne) left for me to take to kill yellow. Bladin, with his army of 40, auto attacked my army of 47, and he came out of it with 8 men... He did this knowing that Warsteiner had an army of 60 men right next to us. I then used my army of around 25 to take back bastogne, trying to kill yellow before War did. War autoed my army, killed yellow and easily killed bladin, since he had wasted his men on me. War then went on to win the game very easily.

The play for me wouldn't have been enough to give me suspicions of a secret alliance, but the chat that then followed did. I was really pissed of at Bladin for blatantly giving the game to War, but even after i spelled out what he had done wrong, he still thought he was right. Not only that, but WoWaholic, who was also playing, accused me of being wrong. Now.... Bladin and WoWaholic are definitely smart enough and have enough experience in freestyle speed games to know that i was right.... On top of that, War just took the win and didn't comment on how bad Bladins gameplay was...

I received a pm from Prankcall, saying how he thought their play was v.suspicious, but i decided to give War the benefit of the doubt...Because i don't think that he's stupid enough to have a secret alliance especially after he has been accused of one.

YOU read the thread! He was blocked because he agreed with mods that it was best for him if he didn't play with strakkenbillen as he was being accused of stuff which wasn't provable.

Warsteiner remains adamant that he is innocent, and until there is concrete evidence to prove otherwise, a points reset aint gonna happen.

I see overwhelming evidence that he is guilty from over ppls statements.Plus I have been in a few games where he has cheated.I didnt think so at first,but then it happened again and again...What he says is not important.He would say that lol

And that's exactly the aim of a secret alliance: working together so you or Warsteiner can clinch the game.
Undisputable proof isn't needed to have you blocked from playing together again. Very suspicious behavior is sufficient. And you defending Warsteiner in this thread is part of that!

The only thing that keeps me from pursuing is that Warsteiner isn't a full-time cheater as far as I can see. And he seems also able to score points when he's not cheating. Entitling him to some sort of a high rank. He's just plain stupid, as Poo mentions, to take these risks.
