Its just like knowing the other player is on the opposite side of a hallway, bouncing a highly thrown frag grenade against the wall, and completely owning their ass!static_ice wrote:thinking ahead I see...Gold Knight wrote:Exactly why I brought it up
Or running in with the assault rifle, either way...

Which brings up another sick point i found out the other day. The old assault rifle from Halo 1 is being put into Halo 3, for more hold down the trigger action... my favorite

yeah, knowing from looking at their screen!Gold Knight wrote:Its just like knowing the other player is on the opposite side of a hallway, bouncing a highly thrown frag grenade against the wall, and completely owning their ass!static_ice wrote:thinking ahead I see...Gold Knight wrote:Exactly why I brought it up

yeah... I don't know why but I liked the BR better, I guess I'm more of a sharpshooter/aimer, not a spray-away player. I know in a fight AR would beat BR but I thought BR vs. BR was more funGold Knight wrote:Which brings up another sick point i found out the other day. maybe I just miss the pistol

you don't have to be a ps3 lover to love halo. i love the ps3 and i hate the xbox (only for the controller), and halo is my all-time favorite game, since i have it for PC. i tried halo 2, and i don't really like it as much as the first, especially how they ruined everything, like the assault rifle being toned down into a SMG and how they fucked up the pistol. dual wielding is kind of stupid, but i don't complain when it comes to the enemies. plus, halo 1 marines looked cooler. it even inspired me to write a 40-page FAQ on the weapons, enemies, vehicles, and easter-eggs (which was rejected by gamefaqs for not having a walkthrough >_>)

I tried FAQs for just about 3 NES games and they all got dumped for Lack of content...Hitman079 wrote:you don't have to be a ps3 lover to love halo. i love the ps3 and i hate the xbox (only for the controller), and halo is my all-time favorite game, since i have it for PC. i tried halo 2, and i don't really like it as much as the first, especially how they ruined everything, like the assault rifle being toned down into a SMG and how they fucked up the pistol. dual wielding is kind of stupid, but i don't complain when it comes to the enemies. plus, halo 1 marines looked cooler. it even inspired me to write a 40-page FAQ on the weapons, enemies, vehicles, and easter-eggs (which was rejected by gamefaqs for not having a walkthrough >_>)
I'm back after an all too long hiatus.

if i had submitted my FAQ earlier, when halo was still new, they would've accepted it. because they said they have too many in-depth guides already. i discovered halo through a friend- he told me to try the free trial (unlimited online play on one map, and one mission). so i tried it, and i was hooked! i decided to spring for the game (by then it was $20)
YAY NINTENDO!static_ice wrote:actually, Nintendo made loads of money with the Gamecube, they made more than either Sony or Microsoft (to add spark to the "who won the war in that gen.?" debate). You see, yes GCN sucked in quality but it was cheap as hell for Nintendo to mass-produce, and with its low price lots of people bought it along with some key games such as SSBM. (Not to mention the money Nintendo made with the DS).sam_levi_11 wrote:the ps3 will not ruin sony. the gamecube was a bigger flop and nintendo survived and are now winning this console war every month by 100,000 or so.
On the other hand, although Sony was selling more PS2's they were losing money from the system, in the end they broke even from the game revenue.
And Microsoft lost a shitload of money on the Xbox, those were pretty expensive to make, obviously Microsoft never went bankrupt because, well, they're microsoft and can afford to lose that kind of money, especially now that its paying off with the 360.
Now with the Wii obviously it is cheaper to buy and make than the other systems, meaning more money for Nintendo. But for the PS3, when you factor in the Blu-ray player I heard it costs Sony $900 to make 1 PS3, so take that for what you will

Lol, I so gotta try that. Using two guns in paintball is even better though, no one dares shoot you unless there quite a bit away.static_ice wrote:you know you use melee too much in halo when you're playing paintball and you smack opponents with your gunsharrakor wrote:BXR is making a comeback in Halo 3.
For those who don't know, you just press those three buttons and it lets you melee, then shoot, in quick succession.

Or if they ambush you at all. An ambush will basically guarantee someone is going to be shot by paintball guns.Titanic wrote:Lol, I so gotta try that.
