Fair comment except this topic has gone do of track as a result of Scotty's comment. So to be more succint, there can be no worthwhile discussion till people stop plastering theirnown agendas everywhere.

Well the problem may be poltical correctness has in some instances replaced freedom of speech WHICH IS A CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT IN AMERICA, many of those posting here may not get it, that said there are times when it goes to far, in those cases you have to decide whether those people have morale compasses or not. Example the derrogative term for African Americans, it is damn stupid term,yet every time I hear a black person speak it, I am stunned.ok yet not ok at all, wake up. The hate on both sides is winning don't let them win WAKE UP.

Bernie either you missed my point or you are intentionally missing it, that word was placed on black people as a derogatory descriptive, and when I say wake up it is to remind black people where it came from and why, yes they know where,but even after all this time why use a word like that with the connotations that it has even to one another it makes no sense in my mind to do so, to me it seems those who gave that term are winning even today and laughing even that black people use it to each other, that is why I say wake up. "Freedom of speech" means that the government cannot jail you for saying something it does not like. It does not mean I cannot call you a moron as often as I like.

JG nailed it. I too am totally cool with other people having a different opinion. Afterall, with each of us having totally different educations, experiences, life lessons, example ratios, parenting etc, it's totally understandable some people are going to have a different take on things based on different needs and perceptions. I take the Constitution very seriously, and right up at the top is #1, the Freedom of Speech. I've pointed out before, when I was growing up, I used to hear people say all the time 'this is a free country, I can say whatever I want.' Today, and not exactly through any direct fault of their own, many people (mostly younger) are all 'YOU CAN'T SAY THAT!' But looking at this another way, p.c. eichmann peeps really are championing themselves as absolutely correct, and anyone who even asks about any possible different opinions are basically cast out into crazy town, mocked, called all kinds of hateful names and what's worse the p.c. peeps start casting horrible judgments up and down and all around, many times upon the first chatter with a person they have never even met one time in their entire lives! It's pretty clear to me many p.c. types are not only the exact definition of the virile hatred they project unto everyone else, but an awful lot of it is also mindless. I get how they think their hate is justified. I am hard pressed to imagine a more dangerous combination of hatred and mindlessness, and political correctness is exactly the kind of danger Lincoln and others warned about so long ago.

He has the right to own and carry a gun, and today's public education system cannot even tolerate a picture of something which is our right! Scary, eh? And I won't leave out the college system either. Just look at what universities used to symbolize only 2 generations ago. They were bastions of free speech, today some students run to authority crying because their precious feelz got hurt and actually getting people fired over it. Just one thing in closing, popular speech usually does not need any protection. It's unpopular speech that needs protection the most, that also being the bedrock of our principles of Freedom and Liberty. Whenever I see groups of people trying to ban words and speech and the sharing of ideas, I literally see a DIRECT attack on America and our most important Constitutional amendment, the 1st Amendment. The admission of people from non-EU/EFTA countries is regulated by the Foreign Nationals Act, and is limited to skilled workers who are urgently required and are likely to integrate successfully in the long term. There are quotas established yearly: in 2012 it was 3,500 residency permits and 5,000 short-term permits.

Trump is not racist. He's a bigot. Difference? Maybe. He's also not qualified to be president based upon what I've seen thus far. Like I said in another thread, despite his popularity, I don't know anyone who is supportive of Trump in real life. I don't think he's going to get the nomination. And I think he will run on as an independent candidate (unless someone he likes wins the nomination - like Cruz) and Hillary Clinton will win the general election. Then we'll have a slightly more conservative version of President Obama for at least four years (i.e. nothing substantive will be done domestically and we'll go to "real war" with ISIS).

One thing to note would be that all three have have to comply with the European Economic Area's rules on freedom of movement, which say that you can't put any kind of limit on people moving from another EEA country to yours. So whether or not they have quotas like that in place, the EU28 plus Norway, Switzerland and Liechtenstein aren't allowed to put any kind of restrictions on movement within that area.

In general most European countries (that I've read about) have immigration rules that prevent people moving there unless they have the means to subsist without accessing state funds and/or are highly skilled. These only apply to non-Europeans though (for the reasons in paragraph 1) and quotas are usually not applied to high-skilled workers.

Outside of highly-skilled worker oriented policy I'm not really sure, but I think generally they won't let regular immigrants come on a working visa unless they already have a job secured and employers have shown they cannot fill the job using a domestic person.

As a capitalist conservative (although I admittedly don't know your definition of the term) who also believes in civil liberties and a scaling back of foreign intervention and defense spending, I certainly don't see Donald Trump when I look in the mirror. Perhaps you're confusing economic conservatism with social conservatism. Donald Trump is playing off of peoples' fears of terrorism and the ethnic and religious components that feed off of that. I don't think those fears are limited to Republicans or conservatives, at least if I look at the latest terrorism/ISIS polls:
