It did to me, I know you're Australian but I also spent 6 weeks in Australia last summer and travelled from Alice Springs to Cairns and Melbourne. Just my perspective but he didn't look that dissimilar.

Sorry, just detailing my coming to the conclusion that it was Hungarian. I thought it was Irish at first as well, because of the Irish history of just being unhappy
