Re: the longest thread, thread - Occasionally NSFW
So I'm trying to add a profile to the "Project Casting" site, to give myself another place to find auditions.
It keeps deleting my "project" details and the link to a video.
That's bad enough, but...
You can't put your birth date before 1970.
It keeps resetting my body type to "muscular".
It keeps resetting my height to "3 foot or under"

Are you thinking of getting some pigs and setting up shop there?
Just run with it Jones. You might not get any call backs, but the auditions should be a hoot!jonesthecurl wrote:So I'm trying to add a profile...

It reminds me somehow of the weirdest headline I ever saw...

But this was real. Apparently there is a whole porn industry of celeb lookalikes who are dwarfs. The Badger part was also real - the guy had been murdered then stuffed down a badger sett.

Odd. I don't know where i saw it, but it certainly wasn't in the Sunday Sport, which makes the National Enquirer look credible. Still, I'm glad i didn't see Hi-ho, Hi-ho, it's up your arse we go.

Re: the longest thread, thread - Occasionally NSFW
We went to a Korean one yesterday with my wife's buddy from work and her family.
So they seat us and I figure the electric grill at one of the two tables is broken because there is a poster in it and the handle to lift the cover is missing.
Sure enough after some discussion the guy sort of explains that is the case but don't worry they'll just cook everything in the kitchen. Uh, ok but we kind of went so the family joining us could experience the self cooking thing.
The guy says if we want, they can bring half cooked food and half raw so the kids can use the grill.
Turned out pretty good. Their electric grills sucked and took way too long to cook on.
One of their boys has some issues and the cook your own made him a bit upset. He kept complaining, "It's not cooked yet, I'm not eating this." His brother and our son, are slightly younger and made it worse for him by playing with the tongs and trying things too early.
We ordered the second round of meats all kitchen cooked and accidentally way over ordered.
Ended up fun to have some entertainment for the two younger boys and we managed to finish all the food, even though we were concerned that might not be possible at one point.

This might be the best kids book response I've ever seen. Some oak flooring company decided to respond to the Lorax in the 80s:

There are two pages on each page, so read the left page first.

Re: the longest thread, thread - Occasionally NSFW
So the curlson's daughter now calls me "Grandpa Jonesey". That's fine, but she's taken to calling her dad "Daddy Jonesey", which I find much more amusing than he does.
