I said that I pray he isn't a vanillia townie and just isn't interested in playing. Thats my only thought Moz.moz976 wrote:Yes I started to votes for dcowboy. I did it originally to get him to talking. I can't say for sure that he is mafia but he seems like the best candidate from what I have read.
I would be willing too change my vote if people have a better person to go after.
Now that you mention it I'm kind of worried since everyone seems to be following me we might have the wrong person.
Anyone have any thoughts?

Just for clarification- I don't think dcowboys seems THAT scummy either. Because he hasn't posted anything to incriminate himself! He just seems worthless to the town, and MAY be mafia in addition.
vgm suspects mach- to me mach seems innocent but I know he could be playing me beause he is good. I'm wary of him even though I believe he is pro-town. The thing is, if we would lynch a guy like mach and he IS a townie we would lose a valuable poster....lynching someone inactive means we have nothing (or very little) to lose. I guess I'm just repeating myself though...

ok, this is getting confusing.
about red bull/fircoal/puff: what if red was insane? he would have investigated fircoal and thought that he was innocent, but he was actually guilty? probably not but you never know with a game this big... puff looks funky (that's bad btw) in my eyes because he roleclaimed with very little suspicion on him. but he said that he had to claim now on page 37.
i agree with Mach that fircoal claiming would not be bad, because red already said that he was important to the town and if my theory is right (it probably isn't) we could back him into a corner
but that can wait until tomorrow, im going to wait on dcowboys and if he doesn't post while im here, he gets my vote. but im not rushing it, i have lots of time to spare...

i guess he thought sen would start a bandwagon on him.Puff wrote:Trestain wrote: puff you only had one vote against you that is waaay off getting lynched there really was no need to claim
Yes maybe so but you saw how many posts there were when I wasn't online. If I get lynched when I'm not online then I can't defend myself so better to defend myself now then not at all.

well, i thought that dc would actually think about building a case for why he ain't mafia, but i guess it left his mind. considering that he hasn't posted much and the other things brought up, no matter how loosely, ill Vote:DC

I'm undecided at this point. I feel like we're just frustrated with not having a solid lead on scum that mob mentality has taken over and found an easy target, the "non-poster." I been looking over the thread and can't find much scummy or pro-town about DC, mostly because there's nothing there to analyze.
The question was brought up what is to be gained from DC's lynching. Well, if he's mafia, the gain is obvious. If he's townie, then the only gain is we didn't lynch a potential power-role.

I highly doubt dcowboys055 is scum. Sure, he hasn't done the best job in the world of defending himself, but if he was scum I would think one of his scum buddies would have came to his defense long ago... Unless we are lucky and all of his scum buddies are the people on the inactive posters list.
Saying all that because he has not been a valuable poster, I wouldn't be too broke up about losing him if he turns out to be town. I can't in good conscious vote someone I believe to be an innocent though. If he is mafia I will eat my hat (if I owned one).
BTW, I had company all day today and could not log in to post. I will be leaving for work shortly and try to contribute more tomorrow.

vote dcowboys055HoussamTheGreat wrote:Honestly, I don't think cowboy is the most suspicious right now.. however, I cannot find ONE good reason why someone with 7 votes on their heads (well 6 now but anyway) doesn't come out and defend themselves. With that said, I am giving him till tonight - at which point he will get my vote.

Listen dcowboys055... The people here at CC are an impatient lot. We are talking about people who bitch about having to wait 24 hours to take a turn at Non Hasbro Online Risk games.
That said it is a stark difference to mafiascum where day pahses can take weeks and posts sometimes are on the order of 3-4 a day per game. But we all must make adjustments to the playstyles of any game, and here one must post or lose. Given that the general attitude here is one of impatience it is totally forseeable that the mob would rather make an easy kill, rely on night choices, and start over fresh the next day, rather than take votes off you and try a case against someone else.
Another thing to consider is the deadline. I would rather lynch you, get your role and view the voting records rather than go through a No Lynch and not find out. The deadline more than anything else causes town to hurry which is why I have not instituted one in any of the games I have run so far.
If you are truly town dcowboys055, dig deep and find someone suspicious for us. Even if you still get lynched we can use what you dug up to help us later...
