What on God's green earth is a quacker?

I see there's a "Day Deadline", what happens if the 11 votes haven't been reached? Does the next highest amount get lynched or is there a no lynch?
The art of war is simple enough. Find out where your enemy is. Get at him as soon as you can. Strike him as hard as you can, and keep moving on. Ulysses S. Grant

The best defense against the atom bomb is not to be there when it goes off.

I'm leaving for the evening, I'm still undecided on who to vote for so hopefully there'll be more information when i get back on...

Well we really need to start getting our votes together or will get a forced no lynch which would tell us nothing.
I am willing to switch my vote if I get a convincing case from someone.

I'll list my reasons for voting for dcowboy to hopefully get some people to see my reasoning.

He has posts only a few times and contributes nothing to the town. The only contribution he made was to lynch xenhu who was not mafia.
He is active all over the forum in other games but does not post in here. He has not responded to the vote against him.
In my mind that would be a mafia tactic. I have used it in the past just ignore accusations against you and usually they will disappear.

So dcowboy what do you have to say for yourself?

And anyone else make your case for who you think is mafia. We need to flush someone out before the deadline.

I agree with moz- dcowboy has been active only enough to vote xen off, then hasn't returned. That seems like he has more potential to be mafia than Lt. Mustard who simply hasn't been posting. We have what, 24 hours to the deadline or so? Time to get moving I guess.

Oh an Kernal- I'm assuming a quacker is a doc whose power to protect someone doesn't actually work. And if we don't get 11 votes by the deadline its an automatic no lynch.

Vote dcowboys055

I'm in Telvanna's game with dcowboy and he has been posting there frequently, and that game's 10 times more boring than this one, so I agree that's a bit suspicious.... FOS cowboy

OK I just spent a few minutes doing a search of cowboy's posts. What really sticks out:
1.) how much he posted in every other thread but this one yesterday,
2.) how active he is in his other two games - contributing and coming up with theories, and
3.) What he's posted in this game has been fluff, i.e. nothing of substance whatsoever.

So upgrade time for me... unvote, vote cowboy

vgmmasters and Senfive look a bit scummy too.
Any idea why you think I may be scum? If it's because of the whole SK fiasco a while ago, that is quite a dumb reason in my opinion.

Also, a thing to keep an eye on is how the votes are placed in the next 24 hours. I noticed some votes placed on cowboys recently, and Ithink it's because of the deadline. But the last 24-48 hours before deadline will be important. Espiecally with voting as that may help decide on who may be scum.

The last four votes for cowboy have been about 4 hours apart.

Sully and Puff voted within an hour of each other, Trestain within the next hour, and wicked 2 hours after Trestain.

I was just going to say the same thing wicked.

vgmmaster you have yet to register a vote for anyone. So who do you think is guilty?

Yeah it works as a good mafia tactic that way you can always go back and say well i didn't vote for so and so I knew they weren't mafia.

I'll have to keep an eye out for vgm

To be honest, I'm not really 100% sure. I'll be the first to admit that I haven't followed this thread as much as I probably should (I'm in 2 other games and I'm starting my own as well), but something about Mach just doesn't seem right.

He keeps placing pressure on everyone it seems. And perhaps that's the one reason I have a hunch about him being possible scum.

(Not related to this game - If you guys are interested, I am starting another game up. I think there may be a few spots open yet as well. )

I am honestly not sticking up for him and pray to god that the reason he isn't contributing is due to him being a vanillia townie and saying screw it. I bet the Mafia is loving this.

Yes I started to votes for dcowboy. I did it originally to get him to talking. I can't say for sure that he is mafia but he seems like the best candidate from what I have read.

I would be willing too change my vote if people have a better person to go after.

Now that you mention it I'm kind of worried since everyone seems to be following me we might have the wrong person.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Part of the reason for my vote was to help put the pressure on, see if he'd come defend himself, or at least post. But I do indeed think he is scummy based on his posting patterns and lack of contributing to this game.

We are still pretty far from a lynch though so I'll keep my vote and hope we hear something from cowboy
