This is one of my favorites. I'm pretty sure years of television and bad movies did the set up for me.

Am I missing something on this one?
I figure there are some games at the colosseum, guy raises the kid up to catch the ball, and the guy is beheaded?
Waitaminute, I think they're catching the head.
Carry on.

Well, the bad news is I'm almost done with the pbf archives, this is the penultimate instalment. The good news is I've only posted a fraction of them(well ok a large-ish fraction), so you should check the actual website if you wanna see them all.
Anyway:

Ahhh, neanderthal chivalry. Still effective even today. Even though it is frowned upon.

And in case you were thinking: "God damn, these comics are pretty good, but just way too practically sized". Here's a subnormality:

Hahaha. Those were great. I liked your comment, but I just don't have the patience for that comic
And thanks to you, I'm now going to follow "Abstruse Goose". (They made the spoon one")

Here are some comics from The Oatmeal by Matthew Inman. A lot of his comics are broken down into multiple images, but here are a few single-image files.

For some reason, as I was scrolling, I was expecting some caterpillar joke - cat on a pillar.
I don't even know where that came from.

I can picture a chicken eating a caterpillar, so maybe your mind leapt to that idea.

Also, has anyone been following this: http://www.xkcd.com/1190/? (it's a gif, but he's releasing a new frame every 30 minutes. It's been going on for several days now, for all frames released so far, see: http://xkcd.aubronwood.com/ )
It's an interesting experiment. The people on the forum thread following that thing have pretty much developed a new subculture by now. Seriously, they have made up words and everything. I feel like there should be an anthropological study about this thing.

I took a brief look at the page, and explored the forum a few days ago. I should go back and catch up.
