What exactly is wrong with Fruitcake's question? It does seem that things are not proceeding how you set it out (let alone anyone else) hence the perfectly valid question. It's ok to disagree with someone else's plan but rather curious that you appear to be disagreeing with your own which is quite an achievement.

at least we agree I am correct, as I said, I know about the criteria and it is staying in that committee for now and Jp is aware of the nominations and selections. I just suggested you pm him if you wanted a quick answer to your post on elections, it is no biggie asking here either. You have a point JP, however, shouldn't there at least be some kind of reaching out to the community to tell them when the elections are going to take place? Have the decisions regarding 1 or 2 member run committees been finalised? Maybe a vote on that? Have the plans for how the votes work been decided?

I was thinking first round of voting to be April 1st to April 30th. I had initially thought we'd take the top 10, but I'd like to see the vote distribution at the end as I could see 12 people get what I would call unanimous support. Then we'd have to have a second vote in the month of May to get the remainder to get to 15, at which time maybe more volunteers would come forward. I'd like to stick to 1 group for now. I've got a spreadsheet built to take in the votes, just need to setup my inbox rules to help with gathering all the votes.

thx Andy, we are trying to accomplish something of this, maybe we can ask georgerx7di to come in here since he has some newsletter experience.

Hay bud, just read this, although we had talked before. Sorry, I've had a lot going on between the newsletter, our school, and clan war, not to mention real life. That's the main reason I've been kind of non-committal here, just don't know if I'd have the time to put into it to do it right.

Not sure if everything is figured out or not, but here's a though. How about a user-group just to get things going. Invite the 5 or 6 people who have been in this discussion the most and you guys can talk about it there. Or maybe just start mass pming each other to straighten out the details. I don't know if that's actually helpful or not. Anyway, pm me if you want to chat about this, maybe I'll be around more after cla and our clan war are done.
