I know it was a redundant post, just like this one but I am bored between classes.Bruceswar wrote:Yes I know

The title looks a little squished - especially on the small map. You've got enough room to move the crest down a little and make the text a little larger. That would help my ailing eyes

PB: 2661 | He's blue... If he were green he would die | No mod would be stupid enough to do that

I have to agree though...my eyes ail also at times.
perhaps just a little adjustment between the major title and the names underneath, some more eye space would be nice.

Along with Baltic Crusades and Nordic Nations, I can see a Baltic Sea tournament in my future!

How is the xml coming along? Can we get it soon so we can play this map. It should not take this long to write it.

Re: Baltic States [9/30] V33 P32 XML TIME!
[Moved]
It would appear that development of this map has stalled. The map is moved to the Recycling Box and put into Vacation status for the next 6 months. If the mapmaker wants to continue with the map, then one of the Cartographer Assistants will be able to help put the thread back into the Foundry system, after an update has been made.

i really like this map. it's fresh clean and crisp. also the colour palette is very well chosen.
however i have 2 minor nitpicks. as far as i'm concerned you can ignore both as it's something most people will not even notice, but if you feel like solving them and it doesn't take long then it will all look just a tad closer to perfection.
1. river-sea blending. right now the river ends abruptly as it hits the sea:

i believe it should be a smooth transition like so:

2. border pressure points. in some areas you have pressure points in the borders where it appears like there's a thicker blacker spot. if you used a stylus to draw them, then you must have had the pressure option turned on. if you drew them by mouse then you probably didn't have a smooth move in that area and hence it registered a thicker spot.

I can fix the first one easy... The 2nd looks like it will not be needed, though I do agree with you. Also I hand drew these lines with my finger on my touch screen, so I can see where they could be slightly off. Good Eye!

- Beta - Quenching
Conquer Club, enjoy!
While the map is in BETA Play, there are a couple of administrative tasks that are required of the mapmaker(s) in addition to the initial gameplay testing:
- 1. Please ensure that the first post of the thread contains all the necessary information to help future visitors to the development thread; it's particularly important to ensure the most recent images are there, along with any helpful guides (such as gameplay quirks/nuances or the location/size of any starting neutrals etc.)
2. It is the responsibility of the mapmaker(s) to ensure that they respond to further feedback in a timely and constructive manner.
3. Write a "creative" map description and send it to the Foundry Foreman via PM. You're encouraged to post it into the first post of the thread as well; the description will be used to populate the maps database.

Just wanted to say I really like the map. Basic game play is nice with enough small bonuses that it offers a lot of play options. Very visually appealing as well. Congrats

Re: Baltic States [3/10] V33 P34 Beta Time??
it looks as if, in well over half of 1v1 games, the first bonus to pay out is one of the 2-region or 3-region bonuses. u can fix this by reducing the two latvian 3-region bonuses to +1, since these are the biggest culprits. kaunas is misspelled as kaunus in the xml.
