Thanks for pointing them out Andy. I HATE the players who don't post...especially the ones that come in with a vote but never share their thoughts on much else. I know not everyone has time to post a lot, but if you don't help the conversation you are of no use to the town. And if you are a mafia member and you don't help the conversation not only are you limiting the towns info but you also limit the chances of saying something incriminating.AndyDufresne wrote: Dcowboys, few posts...latched right on to Xenhu bandwagon on page 5.
Lt. Mustard, just not very active.
Kernal_K, general inactivity, playing the noob card.
Trestain, quick votes on page 8.

Those are the few odd balls that pop out, in regards to activity or lack there of.

Looking at the list, trestain is usually good about posting. Let us pressure him into talking. Perhaps the volume of posts is overwhelming him at the moment, but I think we need to hear from a currently quiet, yet otherwise solid poster.
Vote: trestain
Now before some of you guys freak out, let me explain that this vote does not danger him in any way and I will be taking it off as soon as he posts something. This is a common tactic in Mafia to get someone to talk. Almost an etiquette of sorts.
I agree with you completely, and I wasn't suggesting there was anything wrong with your posts. I counted yours because I thought it was one of the lower numbers, but as you said you make very quality posts.autoload wrote:Yes, I worked today. I have never been a particularly prolific poster in mafia. I prefer quality over quantity. But I also understand that less than 5 posts is not good no matter what the quality. I am curious as to how many posts by the people not on that list were spam or non helpful posts... I mean, I see some players not on that list that I feel did not contribute as much to this game as I have. Just saying that we shouldn't weigh total post numbers as heavily as you suggest.
I'm not saying allow 7 posts to get on him in a situation like this. A good scum tell is if someone gets too defensive when a vote is placed on him. If someone else voted for trestain after me before he replied, I would remove my vote... In a situation like this.reverend_kyle wrote:I disagree with that vote though, for the record, I think before we start voting people for inactivity we should wait a few rounds.
Also. I hate coming back and having 7 votes on me, but thats just me.
Nope.Nyvek wrote:AK, can we get a mod ruling on whether or not Regular Cops are given roles from their investigations?
First Post to appear Pro-town. No Substance.Puff wrote:I personally don't know who's theory to go with so I'm going to say.
vote: No Lynch
Second Post pages later to appear active and go along with bandwagon yet still with no substance.Puff wrote:I am starting to agree with everyone else on the Xen subject.
However my vote stands until I hear more from him
No substance what so ever and hammers Xenhu.Puff wrote:Alright I'm convinced
Unvote No lynch
Vote XenHu
Just Smells scummy showing up over 10 pages later going with the flow again.Puff wrote:That is a very good point but if it goes wrong and Red Bull is a cop then we wasted another day.vgmmaster wrote:This is what I'm thinking at the moment.
Mach's accusation that there is no SK makes sense. Going off of the win condition, Mach would be correct as it says that we are to kill all mafia members and there is no reference to an SK. However, being the experienced player that Mach is, he could be manipulating this seemingly simple info to his advantage.
Also, I want to bring this to attention as well.
You are 100% wrong in this. I will tell you why. I was the SK in a game before (different game then the one I mentioned already). Now, in that game, three people remained, the SK, a mason, and the final mafia member. The SK and the mason lynched the final mafia member and the SK killed the mason which resulted in the SK's win.Machiavelli wrote: The game cant end with a serial killer left.
I'd give you a link to the game, but the forum is private, so linking to it here will not do us any good. But the SK can win mafia games. It's just difficult for them to do so.
Another thing to mention. Red Bull has mentioned that he knows Fircoal is innocent. Either A) he believes that, but doesn't really know for sure, B) he's a cop of some sort, C) they're both mafia, or D) they're both masons.
Personally, lynching either Red Bull or Fircoal may be the best option. If Red Bull is a mason or a sane cop, it clears Fircoal's name. If he's mafia, then Fircoal is mafia.
So the safest way to prove your theory is to Vote Fircoal
This way if we're wrong we didn't lynch a cop (hopefully)
If this wasn't the start of the Cop outing himself so mafia get an easy kill tonight I don't know what is.Puff wrote:What has he said for you to think this. please find the quote.red bull wrote:because i really think he is a help to the town
Good of all? Don't you mean good for the mafia? So the townies lynch Fircoal and then get RoJo at night? Puff you are the one that needs lynching.Puff wrote:The only way to prove red bull is a cop is to lynch fircoal.sully800 wrote:I agree with the general consensus that red bull is acting very strange, but I do not think it is worth a lynch since he's a potential cop. The town lynching their own cops and doctors is the quickest way for this game to end in the hands of the mafia.
To me that really sounds like a cop trying to hint at who the investigated without actually saying "I'm the cop". Of course it could be a better mafia doing an impersonation of a noobish cop, but I think its almost too good of an act for that.red bull wrote:ok i cant really back anything up im sorry i cant. its just what i think and how he is acting,{fircoal} i still have no clues who is in the mafia i have some thoughts as to who is in it but i think i will not get a clear view untill the next day. but right now it does not look like i will make itbut i do know that the pro town needs to keep fircoal alive
Also the only thing he has been saying is he thinks fircoal is innocent. He is not talking about any other members which would make sense if he was a cop because he only had one night to investigate. Also, in the above quote he said he has no clues as to who is in the mafia and won't get a clear view until the next day....once again alluding to being the cop.
There is no way its worth the risk to kill a potential cop. If anything we could lynch fircoal to try and prove that red bull is innocent but I'm not entirely sold on that plan either.
I'm sorry if your your town fircoal but not sorry if your mafia either way this is for the good of all.
My vote stands
Pushing Really Really Hard there Puff.Puff wrote:It does prove something Lynching Fircoal will tell us if red bull is either:wicked wrote:but rojo hasn't even claimed cop. WE are the ones putting that label on him. lynching fircola doesn't automatically prove rojo is a cop if fircola turns out to be townie.
I think the whole situation is weird, but I'm not ready to lynch on it right now.
cop
mafia
mason
why else would he defend fircoal
