Hey guys, this is just an update to tell you all that the tourney is going good.
So far no games in Round 1 have been completed, but players have started being eliminated.
Thankyou for being so patient and having a good attitude about this slow no spoils round.

I've been eliminated in round 1. Hope we receive a message when one can join round 2. Anyway, it is vacation time just now, so it would be difficult just now to join it, so I hope next round will start later in the autumn this year. Seems like the first round is a long way off to be finished

Hey guys,
I am ending the last game so that we can move on with the tourney.
The remaining players in that game will lose $40 as that is how much the next player to be eliminated would have lost.

I am going to allow players 72 hours to join their Round 2 games as some freemium players may have started other games during the lull.
I have learned a valuble lesson in this tourney...Don't put "No Spoils" in a tourney!

Anyone know if everything's OK with Tang Kai? I heard something about banning him/her, some time ago, but I don't know if this still is correct, or why it should have been the case. Got the impression the CC guys jumped their guns and didn't give Tang Kai any chance of defending/explaining him/herself.

I do hope, though, that this tournament can be continued.

Thanks, Lindax, I'll take over the tournament and finish it but with slight changes. Please read below.


Due to the nature of the tournament, how far it is already and how long it has been dead, I've decided that in round 5 only 4 6-player games will be played. I don't wish to bring in reserve players so I'll create 4 games which means that 24 players get to play. I will start from the top of scoreboard (which is below) and randomly assign 24 top players to games. Everybody has 3-5 days to join the games (it includes a game invite + reminder). After that if there are open spots then I'll start bringing in the players from the bottom 6 in order that they are in the scoreboard.

Until place 19 all names are first sorted in order of their rescued money and then random order is used.
It wasn't overly easy to decide who gets advantage on been higher than others in place 23 but I've made a decision that advantage is to those who have been playing all 4 games in the tournament and then followed by reserves. Mbjones79 got the last place in that order because he deadbeated out of his last game.

It's a pleasure to save! Exactly as you said, it would be a waste not to finish it, especially as the whole process of saving it until declaring a winner will take me overall 30-40 minutes of "work"
