Blitz: you can write whatever you want, but please don´t quote me wrong. Just add what you want to say below the quotes, not in the quotes.

sequential team games only, dubs, trips, quads: Blitzaholic's Score

Indeed, and this is why the whole question will remain subjective unless the parameters are fully laid out.Phlaim wrote:Standard, terminator and assassin: Blitzaholic's ScoreBlitzaholic wrote:Total overall: Blitz Sequential GamesSeulessliathan wrote:the mentioned players, points from seq games (17.01.2008):

You're such a cook on singles blitz!
Pedronicus has not clearly defined. There are quite a few ways of approaching the answer, as has been proven by this debate. I read it to ask who of the top score holders actually showed the most gained points on all sequential games. However, within this 'set' are subsets, those with the best scores for team sequential, those for the best singles etc. Blitz's massive disparity shows how we all tend to lean towards our chosen strength, this is a natural evolution. The variety of styles (singles, dubs, trips., quads, speed, terminator, assassin etc) means it is a long task to sort out who is what.Pedronicus wrote:Seeing as the upper scoreboard is made up of players playing primarily freestyle games, there must be a player who plays primarily sequential. who is this king amongst kings?
shits weak. performance enhancing systems? what are you referring to illegal substances? like steroids... last time i checked clickable maps are available to all players and are legal.Fruitcake wrote: The facts are that many are very good at their chosen field. Sequential is more of a purist’s sport, freestyle now having lost most of its shine through, what could be euphemistically put as, performance enhancing systems.
I have avoided freestyle for this reason, and will continue to do so. I am happy to play hard players as it is on that whetstone one's tactical nous sharpens. I am sure many would agree with me that playing too many poor players dulls that particular blade as one can get sloppy, make errors and still come away with a win.
In summary, long live sequential, the REAL way to play this game.

Nope.thezepman wrote:

Go to game finder, insert players name, tick the sequential box and then click map rank.KoE_Sirius wrote:How can you measure Seq games on the map rank tool ? I dont see an option for filtering them out from freestyle games.
but someone who has never played freestyle would have a disadvantage over someone who has lost 1000 points on it so its not a great way to compare playersFruitcake wrote:Go to game finder, insert players name, tick the sequential box and then click map rank.KoE_Sirius wrote:How can you measure Seq games on the map rank tool ? Indeed, as Blitz's figures showed. The original question was about sequential play, so the debate should centre on that. I do not doubt there could be a debate about freestyle players.Jeff Hardy wrote:but someone who has never played freestyle would have a disadvantage over someone who has lost 1000 points on it so its not a great way to compare playersFruitcake wrote:Go to game finder, insert players name, tick the sequential box and then click map rank.KoE_Sirius wrote:How can you measure Seq games on the map rank tool ? a great map rank in one thing normally means a bad one in something else
No one said that. What I was implying is that it is possible for someone to make the top 250 playing freestyle, simply because they are fast (see *manimal), not that everyone who plays freestyle is no good.Jeff Hardy wrote:why do all the players that are bad in freestyle themselves think there is no skill involved in it?

Standard games yes but not true of all team players.Timminz wrote:Anyone who can make the first page, playing sequential only, is a great player. The same can not necessarily be said of freestyle.
I don't know. You'd have to be pretty good at doubles to maintain 2500 points. Not so much for trips/quads.joecoolfrog wrote:Standard games yes but not true of all team players.Timminz wrote:Anyone who can make the first page, playing sequential only, is a great player. you can do the same easily with seq... just join a bunch of highranked players teamgames (quads recommended) and let them do all the work. go ask superstec, he's ruined enough of my games like that to make my foelist, and he was getting close to the first page.Timminz wrote:No one said that. btw, there is a difference between being bad at something, and simply not doing it.
