Almost died? An acquaintance of mine has a cat which survived being stepped on by a horse.

The day before I left home to go to college my dear, dear kitty Anakin (ooh, another hint to my age!?), got ran over by a car during a thunderstorm. His HEAD was smashed. His brains, I kid you not, were coming out of his mouth like another tongue and out of his eye sockets like tears streaming down his face. He howled these sad, gurgly little meows. He survived for 12 hours!!MeDeFe wrote:Almost died? An acquaintance of mine has a cat which survived being stepped on by a horse.
My mom and I SOBBED for the entire 12 hours. My dad wanted to just 'take him out back' but we loved little Ani too much to let him die anything but a slow, painful death.

You could sell 'em for big bucks. There's a big rag doll racket.RiskTycoon wrote:lol well I might hold you to that.... looks like Cottonellie is pregnant with Mr. Bigglesworth's kids ... if she pops i don't know what i'm gonna do ... lol i can't have a million kitties running around ... as cute as that would be lol
They're so luvable that people just want them for pets and don't care a poo about bloodlines or show quality or whatever schmatever like some breeds.

yeah i thought about that... they will not have papers to show they are real Rag Dolls and i don't feel like trying to register them so i think if she does pop i'll just try and get rid of em for like $100 or $200 ... who wouldn't want a super cute kitty for that cost! or just give em away if it takes too long to sell them... the bad part about this... is you know i'm gonna end up with 4 cats when all is said and done !

People will definitely buy them, especially if they come to your home and see the other cute ragdolly cats.RiskTycoon wrote:yeah i thought about that... they will not have papers to show they are real Rag Dolls and i don't feel like trying to register them so i think if she does pop i'll just try and get rid of em for like $100 or $200 ... who wouldn't want a super cute kitty for that cost! or just give em away if it takes too long to sell them... the bad part about this... is you know i'm gonna end up with 4 cats when all is said and done !
I bought my first cat for $75, and she's just a barn cat's daughter. But she was itty bitty and worm-free, so it was worth it.
