Under normal circumstances yes... but most of the stores around me are having problems with this service.mrswdk wrote:Can't you order groceries online in the US?
I expect there was a rush this week and that will be normal next week.

So, if you're on the street, near nobody else, and infected, there's no chance of giving it to someone else. If you're alone on the street near nobody else and not infected, you won't catch it. Either way the police will round you up and put you in a building with a bunch of non-tested people, right next to the forces of law and order who need to remain uninfected to do their job. Doesn't make a lot of sense.betiko wrote:We are completely shut down here. The police will arrest you if you are in the streets. Meanwhile, Ghana have banned all inward travel from infected countries, so Mrs thecurl ain't going and the conference (which was one of the man reasons to go) is likely off.

A small number of people who flout the curfew and get arrested vs the entire population of the country continuing to go about their daily routines as normal.jonesthecurl wrote:So, if you're on the street, near nobody else, and infected, there's no chance of giving it to someone else. An infected person needs to be within a couple of metres of someone for at least 15 minute straight for there to be much risk of passing the virus on to them. A person locked in a cell by themselves isn't going to spread it to anyone.

This is definitely man made by the UN. Much like the financial meltdown of 2008 to bring austerity and a change to lifestyle in the western world to fit in with agenda 21. This is the big thing that will affect how you live to fit the UN agenda 2030. More power to the big corporations and another step towards worldwide socialism, less freedom and the start of depopulation.

It's a mild illness, if it was man made they did a really poor job of it. IMO, the only thing man-made is the gross overreaction by the media which has led to a gross over-reaction by the populous which has led to gross over-reaction by elected leaders. The ram wrote:This is definitely man made by the UN. Unless you're old or have pre-existing health conditions, in which case there's a reasonable chance it will kill you and even if it doesn't you'll probably end up hospitalised.mookiemcgee wrote:It's a mild illness

I’m unclear which google terms I should search “agenda 21” or “UN agenda 2030”. Can you clarify?
... you know if they get the media onboard with their agenda they don’t even have to really create a virus... they could just have the media report that there’s a virus. Any fringe reporters who figure out the truth will just be labeled as kooks by the mainstream and no one will believe them anyway.

That's not some special trait only attributed to Corona Virus. Virtually all other mild illness that go around on a regular basis can also be deadly for the same group of people. We haven't changed the way society operates because of them.

Re: Is it time to end the quarantines?
General rule of thumb is that if subject matter experts of numerous different governments and independent bodies are all recommending the same thing, it's possible they have fairly good reasons for doing so and that it's worth doing at least a casual bit of research to find out what those reasons are before dismissing them based on your gut feeling:mookiemcgee wrote:That's not some special trait only attributed to Corona Virus. It doesn't have to be strong, it's killing the old and weak. It's all psychological, people will accept the martial law to protect older loved ones. The vast majority of the populous believe the mainstream media who are a part of the corporation's that want a fascist worldwide socialist government, and coincidentally, you normally follow them to the word.mookiemcgee wrote:It's a mild illness, if it was man made they did a really poor job of it. Agenda 2030 is agenda 21, just another step/phase of agenda21, like agenda 2050. Everything is done by gradual steps, towards a totalitarian socialist world government.jimboston wrote:Wait... I'm open to most of what your saying as possible, I just don't think a cabal would have needed to 'man make' the infection. Long timelines allow for spooky secret cabals to wait for opportunities to capitalize without needing to create the emergency. Why bother? The ram wrote:It doesn't have to be strong, it's killing the old and weak. It's all psychological, people will accept the martial law to protect older loved ones. I'm not saying it's not man made either, who fucking knows... I'm just saying the opportunity has been there with epidemic scares that were not man made. There have been plenty of more deadly but less infectious diseases epidemic scares in the last 10 years the cabal could have used, and there will be something as infectious and much more deadly than this novel corona virus at some point in the future.

Like I already said, it's not about the strength of the strain it's more about how easily it's passed on and the psychological effects. You might not be afraid for yourself but I guarantee you will be worried about someone in your family catching it.mookiemcgee wrote:I'm open to most of what your saying as possible, I just don't think a cabal would have needed to 'man make' the infection. The ramifications this has on small independent businesses and how obedient the population become to authorities is a huge step towards a nanny/communist state. It's not the apocalypse, just psychological warfare.

Re: Is it time to end the quarantines?
to The Ram: Do you have a better idea? What is your suggestion or idea on how to handle this situation?
To me, the key is to stop the spread of a virus that we have NO cure for, as of now (trials for a vaccine has begun). The best way to stop the spread is to keep people from congregating together to share the virus and infect others. That is what we are doing by closing schools and cancelling sporting and entertainment events.
What do you suggest? What better plan do you have?

Re: Is it time to end the quarantines?
And like I said already, nothing about what you just wrote implies the infection was man made in any way what-so-ever. We already know new infections happened, are happening and will continue to happen without man needing to make them. It's airborne, most previous epidemic scares of the last 10-20 years weren't. Many non-man made infections are airborne like the flu. Nothing about the epidemiology points to it being man-made.The ram wrote:Like I already said, it's not about the strength of the strain it's more about how easily it's passed on and the psychological effects. @jusplay, I think the world has already given up on 'stopping' the spread. It's just about slowing it now so there are enough hospital beds ect.
