Well, there's the kind of obvious stuff where even using the word "gay" could get you banned, and still gets you added punishment

I guess I'd like to see a forum here where being open is OK.

This makes no sense to me whatsoever. I have been told time and again how you have championed the legalisation of GAY on cc. I have read your numerous posts where you take credit for staring down the evil mods and forcing them to be more accepting and allowing the use of the word "gay".

Now you tell me it ain't so.

I am confused. I am at a loss now. I almost feel like tearing down my Symmetry posters, such is my disillusionment.

My disagreement with you comes from your last comment. You act as though you don't know sym well. This IS his issue. It doesn't have to be an actual issue for him to bring it up. He's essentially a lobbyist, and he's going to hammer this point regardless of what's happening. The whole idea of suggesting someone be a particular mod for a particular cause on a gaming site is completely laughable. This isn't a government, where we need to have a level of bureaucracy for ever literal thing you can think of. So no, I dismiss entirely the idea that if a thing is brought up, it must be an issue - sometimes you have to look at who's doing the complaining.

I don't know him though, apart from seeing him a few times in the chat room. I know he was in trouble with mods before too, but can't even remember why. I did not at any point agree with him and the ridiculous idea of a mod for LGBT issues . Just said that there must be an issue (around bigotry) for someone to feel this strongly about it. I don't like bigotry of any kind myself and it has no place on any forum. IF it was happening, it should be looked into and stamped out. But... I also think it's up to people to report these things when they see them. Mods aren't all seeing, all knowing.

Having read this thread over, I've kinda come to the conclusion that Symmetry hasn't been targeted, and that it's a non-issue.

Now I am curious to find out what an Ass Cobra actually is. This does seem like perhaps the right thread for it, so if anyone knows I would appreciate it.

A google search only brought up the Wikipedia page which refers to the album only. There is no Ass Cobra disambiguation page.

Urban Dictionary has a definition but often they are just some idiot making stuff up, so I dont believe it.
