Also that nice streak of yours where you entered into five or six double Canadian games against me and Eye where you managed to end up with newbie deadbeats in all of them also didn't really help to float that boat I guess. Must say that we (believe it or not!) actually felt bad for you. It was really ridiculous seeing player after player going deadbeat on you.AngryAnderson wrote:If rising up the leaderboard is 'what floats your boat' I'd advise not taking the family away for a 5 day holiday like I did a month ago, especially when involved in over 30 games at the time.
What's the highest you've ever gotten on the Scoreboard?

Yeah, but Highborn is posting faster than you make points, so pretty soon he will outpost your high score.....Belzbub wrote:I have never been higher than i am now, with 2778 points. I have had the first place before but not so many points.
Congrats on the score, especially seeing as no one has found fault, dishonor or cheating in your play.
The ground was rushing up at me. It had been one heck of a ride. And suddenly I wondered………

Well after a sudden streak of dumb losses I improved a bit to 90th with 1515
Edit: 1515 on my 15th game. I can't wait to play #40!

With Belzbub approaching 3000...do people still think obtaining General is impossible with the current system?
I think it might be possible....it would just take some extremely good and consistent play over a long time....and then I nice string of luck to finish a long winning streak
Of course we know the higher you get the harder it gets and since the 3000+ range is uncharted territory...well, it might just not happen.
As a general you would average about 80 points for each loss....and only win 25 (in a 6 player game) so that's pretty rough.

Easy to do by limiting your games to doubles / triples with other strong players (which I never do I may add), and trashing newbies galore.
Or hard to do if you take on allcomers, but achievable if you have skill (and of course an element of luck, especially with the 'kin dice generator!
).
I suppose in summary it depends on if you want to be judged a 'saddo' or a 'good player' by your peer group here at CC.

You want to make alliances? Play doubles/triples games and stay out of my single player games lame brain!
