Here is a PM from Night Strike:

The organizer did not put a rule against such actions in his tournament structure, and there is not currently an overall tournament rule against such actions, even in assassin games, so the result of the game should stand.

pindary deliberately killed the wrong target so that he would not be eliminated and would advance to the next round. This can't possibly be acceptable, right?

I'm going to bring Night Strike in because he's the Head TD and in charge of rulings.

So, I'm going to say my thoughts, but if NS wants to overrule me, that is fine. NS, we're talking about Game 12308443.

Basically, there is no punishment for this. In tournament games, winning the tournament, is a goal. So, historically, there is no wrong in what he did. I think that it sucks for someone to do that instead of just trying to win the game himself, but what he did was advance himself.

I am willing to let everyone replay the game from the beginning, but he really didn't break any rules. That is partly my fault, as NS alluded to, because I didn't set any rules in place for something like this. I didn't really see it happening.

So, if everyone (the 4 people in that game) agrees and posts here that they agree, I will make a new game and a rule that says no deliberate killing of anyone other than your own target.

I think 9 rounds into the tourney is a little late to start changing the rules. Are we going to go back and replay every game where this happened in this tourney? Personally, I like to win games, but if someone finds a loophole to stay alive then good for them. I agree with Night Strike that the game should stand.

Congratulations on making the finals. The last lady in my life. Her name is Saundra.

I had just moved back from Seattle. It was the middle of June and I was meeting some friends at a swimming pool and Saundra was there. We met and started hanging out in the summer. I had already graduated college, but she was still in school. She moved back to her sorority in August and came back to town occasionally to see family. So, we saw each other sometimes. However, it wasn't until Christmas that I really let her in and we started dating. We got engaged in May, on my birthday, and we were married by the next Christmas. She won't break your heart like all the other girls!!

Really glad we let pindary advance to the finals. It's only round 10 right now and he's already missed 4 turns. Just wonderful.
