What's your favorite ice cream flavor?

A lot of my favorite flavors aren't really ice cream, but gelato flavors.
For the regular Ice cream ones,
Cookie Dough
Cherry Garcia
are probably my favorites.

For the gelato, especially from Breyers
Vanilla Caramel
Raspberry Cheesecake

Real gelato is awesome. It tastes better in Italy though- mainly because you can taste the bitterness of the people you will educate about how you've been to Italy and eaten real gelato.

No. it's a flavour, as long as the chocolate chips are fully incorporated into the ice-ceam. Choclate chips as a sprinkled topping would not count.

I would consider them an addition to the actual ice-cream. If they melt into the actual ice cream, I think there is an argument to be had that the ice-cream itself has changed flavour. Prior to said melting, however, they are equivalent to a topping. Like cheeses that have fruit mixed in, there is a distinction between the fruit and the cheese.

Well then the flavour of the ice cream is vanilla, or mint, or whatever, and the chocolate chips are extra, right? Chocolate chip is not a flavour of ice cream, it's something that's added to the ice cream.
