Score updated 10-8 for AOD, projection after the first round will be in the 16-9 or 15-10 range for AOD. Lots of close games after G1 got some really quick wins.

The media makes the poster-boy, not the fans. Take a look at Nick Lidstrom if you want a true hockey player. Now in his 20th year with the same team, not many non-nhl fans have heard of him, yet he is the best of his era and perhaps the best all-time at his position (Bobby Orr is the only argument against). I do agree with chap's point that a hot goalie can carry a mediocre team to the finals (J.S. Giguere for the Ducks comes to mind), but generally it takes the whole team playing together well to keep going in the playoffs.

Was wondering when the trips games will be sent out (I'm assuming after the new year, just curious if we have a timeline/estimate as to when that will be)

Overall the map choices by random have been quite reasonable. I'd probably change only 4 if I could.

Updated for 3 AOD win in the first set, 2 more to come so 16-9 was the result there. Added all the trips games as well to first post.

As always, a competiton with G1 is close and has been fun throughout... Well, except losing all the triples games, but even there I cant think of a more standup group to lose my points to.

Also, how come I didnt see a whole lot of Strider? Holding back the big guns to give us a shot?

I have actually been pretty busy GK, but I fear I try not to play in too many games because in most cases I mess up xD I'm pretty sure I just handed one of the most crucial games to AOD >.>
