It was before the first shift of the day, the sun had not yet risen, the manager arrived to unlock the restaurant and prepare for the first worker's arrival. When he entered his body was welcomed by the same biting coldness that blanketed the entire town, he fumbled for the light nearly tripping on an overturned chair. The scene that appeared was a frightening one, glass covered the floor like a sheet of snow, making the chill in his body that much more apparent, every piece of furniture not attached to the ground was tossed around the store with enough force to splinter, a lone brick sat in the center of the room, the manager didn't need to read the attached note, he knew the protection money was overdue...

The first shift arrived soon after, they gasped and gossiped to each other, the manager just looked down away from them and whispered a simple order.
"Get this cleaned up before the early birds arrive, there are spare chairs in the back."

why such blatant discrimination girl? if my travels through peru and bolivia have taught me anything, is that you can most likely eat anything as long as you spice it well enough and cook it for several hours
