Agreed. Our team won our first game (4 teams), and now we're playing again (2 teams). Seems to me (using Game Finder to view all the games) that the last game of Stage 1 was skipped. Something is either screwy with the games or not explained correctly.

I went to set up round 3 and it told me you couldn't be invited because you were banned. If that's not correct then I'll fix it, you'll play and I'll apologize profusely.

As for structure, if you won the first game you got an automatic pass into round 3. Those who lost the first game fought each other to get into round 3. The winners of round 3 games will face each other in the final game.

There's been a bit of a delay on my end that isn't anyone's fault and I won't go into but I'm back in play and will get everything moving more quickly from now on.

It appears that he changed the rules on the tourney.

According to the rules, it started with a quad game (which was played), with the result being W1/L1/L2/L3. Next would be L1/L2/L3 in a trips game with the result WL1/LL2/LL3. Now LL2/LL3 (the teams that lost both the quads and trips games) would play each other. The winner of that game (WLL1) would go against W1 and WL1, while the loser (LLL1) would go home. So W1/WL1/WLL1 would play a trips. The losers of that game would play each other, with the winner going against the winner of the second trips game.

However, he actually did the games with the winner of the 8 man playing the winner of the 6 man. Instead of there being many ways to continue in the tournament, in the first round it's lose twice (or win the first then lose the second) and you are out. I am disappointed by this change in rules, as it was not communicated to the players.

It's cool. You seem to know what you are doing. For your first tourney, you've done alright.

If you organise any more I'd reccommend going for a straightforward knockout or something like that.
