as many people as you vote hopped on in just the last 4-5 pages (3 by my count) you have little ground to start calling names for choosing you. and then you're going to disapear? I'm not sure i buy it.

can anyone counter the pope claim? If not i might re-consider, but for now my vote stays, especially after that scummy retort

I don't know, I'm going to have to think about this.

On the one hand, a Pope claim is a good reason to unvote.

One the other, voting yourself is in my book either retarded or scummy, and I think we can all agree LSU isn't a retard. He was five votes away from being lynched. Why the hell vote for yourself at that stage?

Good thinking Koesen. I'm gonna wait for a vote count, but I suppose LSU is close enough to a lynch; if we don't hear from a god I'll assume we might as well lynch him as this claim seems a bit weird though if it's true TWO's one would make more sense; there's also the fact that LSU voting for himself is another shady element to it. If pope is supposed to be an important role for his faction why would he do that?

Don't you think God would make an effort to save the Pope and that consequently, if He doesn't, we're probably not dealing with the Pope at all?

On another note, I suggest 72 hour deadlines for the days from now on. This game day has been going on for eight calendar days already and will probably make it through most of the ninth, if not more.

If we keep that up, we'll get to the Christmas holidays before Day Four, and I am sure that will kill the game. I for one will most likely not be able to play for a week or two.

I'm not sure what to think of LSU's roleclaim. However, if we keep on pushing people to roleclaim without actually lynching somebody, it'll only end badly. At least his lynch should provide us with some clues. I'm keeping my vote on LSU.

I don't really believe LSU's claim, I would think if someone had that important a role they would not say little about it and just disappear while they are still a key suspect. Either way I will hold off for now, he is already close enough to the lynch and I'd rather wait for either a god to speak on his behalf or for LSU himself to clarify his role. But we might be waiting a while.

Unvote Yes, I'm the pope. Reality I'm not a cop or doc and so it's not a huge deal if I die b/c of you heathens. I was not given who was God or Satan. Only that I am the pope and have a different power(roleblock). If some of you idiots want to lynch me go ahead, but when my death shows that I am indeed the pope that will give the rest of God's army a lead on which of you idiots are working for the devil. Day 1's are meant to be random votes. In this case, we had a cop come out on day 1 and end a day 1 without making it random thus making day 2 random after the gods intervened with what the cop pointed out. Random votes are tossed around and by not being around that much after it getting made clear that some of you want to vote me I went ahead and voted myself since as I said I'm not a cop or doc and even after pointing out my role I knew some dumbfucks would decide to keep their vote there or even add to it. In regards to the God speaking out about it, I'm not so sure they know exactly who everyone is or how often they are allowed to speak out as they have done a lot of speaking already on this day and may have exhausted their speaking points for the day.

I know people are getting frustated by lack of leads but I don't think lynching the pope is the right answer to the problems.
