1. We haven't been to Triton, for all we know there could be microscopic life there.
2. It isn't a guarantee that every place capable of sustaining life will have life on it.

1. Gravity evolve? Even rhetorically, what does this question even mean? It's roughly semantically equivalent to asking "when did logic die?"

2. Never, because they (most likely) don't exist, at least nowhere we have observed objectively.

3. How do you know it didn't? We haven't even found out for sure if there is a liquid water mantle or not on Triton, let alone taken any samples to check for microscopic evidence of life...

4. Actually, on the surface of Triton any methane would only exist as methane ice due to the incredibly low temperature there, for other forms we'd need access to an area a significant distance under the surface which we have not been able to observe in any way (yet)

5. See (3) - we don't know for sure there isn't life on Triton, we haven't been there yet to check the possibly liquid water mantle. The closest we have got is photographs taken by Voyager II from a 40,000km high orbit.

6. As Andy said, let us know when you intend to start, I'm sure several people could recommend good books on the modern understanding of, evidence for and grey areas in this field of science.

It was actually written a) to oppress the ignorant masses and b) because trying to maintain a religion by Chinese whispers would allow people to keep changing their interpretation of things and redefining what the beliefs should be.
