Re: Holy Roman Empire 1648 v37 13 nov [Final Forge]
The font changes for the map makers names between the small and large maps. Also, I think you could move the names up slightly in the large map, there is no need for the "p" in your name to touch the bottom of the map.

Yes, thanks Andy, some few details and it will be it.
I will move it up, thanks for thinking about such tiny insignificant details as the authors names...
I was obliged to change because of the size, I'll check again but if it's not legible it will stay. The Neon Peon wrote:The font changes for the map makers names between the small and large maps. I send a pm to every single contributor to this map making process, as no one has something else to say I think we will be ready for quenching when I made those signature changes...

One of the best looking maps to date. Well done.

Re: Holy Roman Empire 1648 v37 1dec [Final Forge]
I think there are many better places to stick the Army Number for Spanische Niederlande than beterrn the territory name, and the continent name.
Re: Holy Roman Empire 1648 v37 1dec [Final Forge]
I think the above comment about the Spanische Nied coordinates are is very astute - the small map location is good, but the large map location looks like a mistake. It is closer to the territory title than any other count on the board, and there is plenty of room to drop it and center it under the territory title.pamoa wrote:Thanks RJ.

Other than that, I'd say let's get it quenched.

This is being kind of picky... but I think that the "for victory" and the "hold all guns" should be moved closer together. You can still read it now, but just in case you've got nothing else to do.

An easy change that would indeed look better. Other than that I guess it's time to get this map a playin!multiplayertim wrote:agreeThe Neon Peon wrote:This is being kind of picky... but I think that the "for victory" and the "hold all guns" should be moved closer together. There is a line between the delta of the river and the river itself.

Sorry for my absence. Before I get Quenching, who were the two primary developers that will be receiving a map medal for this production? Post here, or PM me. Thanks,

Re: Holy Roman Empire 1648 [Quenched]
Sorry to stir things up, but why did Unit 2 get a medal instead of grayhawke?
It sounds like grayhawke did all the preliminary work and pamoa finished it up. Unit2 only provided two updates to the map, grayhawke had 12. (if you include updates 3-10 that aren't listed in the first post, grayhawke has had a total of 20 updates. The most out of the three of them.)
That doesn't make much sense. greyhawke, didn't you do a lot of work on the map? how is unit_2 a primary developer instead of you?grayhawke wrote:That would be pamoa and unit_2AndyDufresne wrote:Sorry for my absence. Re: Holy Roman Empire 1648 [Quenched]
I agree with wca. You were the vision for the map to start with, and though you dropped off development in favor of first Unit_2 and then pamoa, they were still working with YOUR gameplay. I want to congratulate all three of you for a map well-done, but I firmly believe grayhawke deserves the second medal. Unit_2 will have one from Golfe du Saint Laurent soon enough, credit where credit is due.
