Against my better judgement, I'm taking my boy to see the third "Mummy" film tonight. It's a belated virthday treat for him and his mates.

I thought he might have wanted to see the new Star Wars thing, but a mere "PG" is beneath their attention apparently.

i took my lad(he's only 7) and 2 mates to see Wall E last Saturday for his Birthday.

started off slow, but thought it was quite funny. my lad and his mates like it a lot so that's good enough for me.

Result! wasn't forced to see amovie at all, I bought the lads tickets, met them afterwards, and sloped off to the pub for a coupla hours!

That's exactly what they thought.

The wife and daughter are away tonight for a girly expedition, so all the lads have come back for a laddish sleepover.
I left them playing video games for a while. One by one they passed the tv I was watching and sat down and joined me.

Roughnecks, best CGI tv ever.
