Our process is quite slow and thorough.... something about Rome being built or not being built comes to mind. Certainly not a bad thing but it does try the patience of players that want to join.

Nothing wrong with a slow and cautious process, especially when you have a reputation to uphold. I think any player would be honoured to be considered by your clan and if he can't wait for the admissions procedure then he's not worth having on board.

I think for Knight what clinched it was that we were so new that he could feel a part of something that's going somewhere. Unfortunately for you guys up in the Gods you just have it all to lose

We're certainly growing into the clan I'd always envisioned, and recent recuits have really complemented what we already had onboard.

Quad - Chariot of Fire/Daryth/Shatners Bassoon/jpeter15 - currently standing at 121 wins from 165 games, all against top oppo (we won't stoop to farm)

Trips - Velvecarrots/TheBro/Aradhus - 22 wins from 23 played (farmers, cough cough)

Doubs - Knight2254/cutebastard71, Velvecarrots/TheBro, Chariot of Fire/Daryth. Not many can hold a candle. Velve/Bro & CoF/Daryth have held 1st & 2nd in AndrewB's long-running Spring Doubs tourney.

Room for another top-flight trips or quads team if anyone wishes to join us

Hey guys, I'd like to join your great lineup. I've played 400 team games and have all the tactics down. Score's taken a dip by a couple hundred points due to a certain regular partner being booted, but I haven't dropped below 2k in a couple months. Looking forward to being under consideration.

Yes, I did inquire about TSMs as you are a very strong, established clan and I could learn a lot from your players and hopefully add some value to the clan. However, after what seemed like an eternity (was it only 2 days? it felt like more -- I was convinced you had forgotten about my inquiry) of not hearing back from TSM I inquired about Tofu as I have always respected the gaming ability and diplomacy of CoF and the rest of the former LoW'ers.

Just FYI -- I gave full disclosure to CoF about my interest in the Monkey's. However, the invitation to Tofu was too good to pass up. It's going to be exciting building the clan from the ground up. I was happy to see that my doubles partner from skyforce, cutebastard71, opted to come over to Tofu as well.

Perhaps we can organize a clan challenge against the monky's soon. You've got a great clan and I'd love to have some great strategic games with you. Also, let me know if you guys ever need a teammate, I'm always open to new games.

If we're able to advance to division one of the CLA I look forward to playing against you guys next year.

I joined a tournament he started that comprised of 4 quad teams. he made a total of 4 games with the second round game consisting of the following pm

Join game, check thread of for game details.

Then after several pm's requesting him to finish the damn thing, nothing. But this person is still creating new tournaments.
People like this should be banned from starting any more tournaments, because wasting peoples time isn't polite.
