Should Xtratabasco be allowed back into the forums?

Probation has been debated before. I say that all permabanned members ban records be reviewed at the time of membership renewal, and the mods can decide accordingly...paying members should be considered for probationary release.

Sorry guys but I am all for keeping xtratabasco banned and so is twill. As an additional detail, xtra was a terrible sport about his ban, and still believes it is not his fault, so I say we keep him on ban.

I got my xtratabasco experience over at NOTA for the short while that I was there. Seems like a nice enough guy, just a bit opinionated (and that's not a bad thing). I say bring him back. CC could use a little more spice.

There was no "Hell, Yeah!" option so I voted "yes" instead, the evidence of the given reason for the ban is yet to be seen, and given the recent revelations regarding limes, ticks and bad prescriptions... Well, review the case, or better yet, overhaul the banning system so people don't get off with a slap on the wrist for a first major offense but get permabanned for several minor infractions.

Also stop classifying everything you perceive "not to have a point" as spam, that's just your subjective pov, moderator or not.

Just to make another point, I don't consider Xtra a troll. Sure he said things and had opinions that might have been opposing some of the more liberal mindsets in the community, but he really didn't set out to try to harm CC in any way.

The REAL TROLLS are the ones that get forum banned and then they create multis and keep coming back in just to disrupt the community. Then they get site banned and then they really become trolls after that.

Xtra would be the least of the moderation's worries.

Xtra's political and conspiratorial view points were offensive to some, perhaps not to you, but to a small group that ended up getting Mod Powers. Xtra believes so strongly in his politics and 9-11 Truth, that he made it a point to always have the subjects on the board. Some (not all) people hated seeing that and when Wicked became a Mod, she looked for every little scrap of evidence to convince CC moderation that he was indeed a troll, when Wicked herself became a troll (of the worst sort considering the multi-creating how-to tips she passed out).

Wicked insinuated that Xtra was a multi and that he had posted porn, both of which were totally untrue and she never posted the evidence when she was called on it.

Basically, this is how I see Xtra's ban:

1. Xtra doesn't take shit from people.
2. Xtra believes strongly in his view points
3. Xtra used one racial slur towards describing illegal aliens.
4. Xtra posted both Ron Paul and 9-11 threads to wake people up, and I believe that he has accomplished that with a few people.
5. A small group of people despised Xtra for mostly posting 9-11 threads.
6. One of these people acquired Mod Powers and was on drugs
7. Very soon after this, Xtra was banned for calling soundout a jock-sniffing-ball-licker outside of FF

This was the stupidest reason to ban someone for. And for people to continually call Xtra a troll is not fair, as the ones who have accused Xtra of trolling are themselves TROLLS of the worst sort!

Xtra deserves more as a very loyal member of CC. He has always shown his patience and honor.
