IMO, the Yankees downfall was after last season, when they traded Petit (sp?)..... etc.

I said this when they made those trades, that this would be the beginning of the end for them.

They couldn't last forever.

yankees and mets are my favorite teams. however, a good world series in my opinion is Mets v the REd Sox, one of my least favorite teams.
