I have sent out pms for the Week One bouts (judges' scorecard #1 of possible 3)...enjoy your first bouts. I know this league may be a bit confusing at the start, but I think after we all get this first bout under our belt it will clear up...any questions let me know.

Rubin Carter scored an 4th round knockout over Roberto Duran, taking out the highest-ranked fighter in the tournament. The two went back-and-forth in the early-going before Carter stunned his opponent with a +6 bonus grab of the Highlands (Scotland map). He kept up the pressure with a 30-army deploy in the next round to finish off his opponent.

Yes, a knockout at any point (any of the possible three maps) out-ranks everything. good question.

We are waiting on only one bout from week 1 to finish, and standings and schedule will be posted when that is finished.

I have also sent out a few of the Week 2 bouts...the rest will go out when the final week one bout is done.

Week one bouts are finished...results on the lead post in this thread...only one decision in the nine week one bouts. I'm surprised at how many knockouts we had.

Remember, you win some prize money if you lose by decision, but you get nothing if you lose by KO, so it's worth putting up a fight even if it looks pretty obvious you are going to lose the map.
