I go for Ottomans, thier artillary is unstoppable, and the abus gunners are the sickest unit ever. You breeze through the 1st and 2nd ages, making a good foundation and getting to the imperial age really easy. Settlers don't cost anything, giving you a lot more money for millitary units, buildings and upgrades, and as long as you build enough houses, you don't really have to worry about your settler population, which is very helpful. You have stronger units than anyone in age II, and the most unique units in the game making you a very strong fighting force. Simply put, they are just sick...wow, I wrote way more than I expected to write just on one civilization.

Also, if you get the upgrades to Hussars and Grenadiers (Gardeners and Baractu), you get one kick arse force.

I practically always play with the british, as I'm not so good at resources(so I use manor houses), but I think I might switch with a different civilization soon, maybe the dutch, or the ottoman or german.........
