Imagine for a second, a woman plays on a team in the NBA. Do you think the team really wants that kind of circus? How can you not understand that something like that will take a lot of focus off of the game, the strategy, the locker room, the media, the attention, team chemistry. Few of which have much of a bearing on their capacity as a soldier; if they can pass the tests, accept the culture and get on with the job there's no reason for any kind of inequality. You should probably enlist carpet man, you seem to have the proper military aptitude. Of course a soldier's military status should be achieved on merit only and not simply advanced to meet desired squad numbers. That being said, NOBODY ESCAPES BASIC TRAINING or boot camp without meeting specific requirements and no woman should have to worry about being sexually assaulted by the goons she serves with regardless of rank.

Scotty, here's something I really think you should read. It's a pretty objectively written piece about all of these popular studies that purport to find some "hard-wired" differences between men and women, and also why a lot of these studies are methodologically flawed.
