no
I played with a ton of players on this site and many were not aware that a post was made for a congratualtions on the feat, so i pm'd some players and let them know it was a congrats to me, although my name was not labeled, and remained discreet, perhaps due to some jealousy of only a select few folks, most respect the feat, some posted and some didn't, thats all.
The other pm's that i received and returned were a lot on the Super Elite Group, and ranking over 2K, well more than that, but is is a secret formula of criteria that I am not at liberty to discuss. I apologize that I cannot go on into great lenghts about the secret james bond criteria and formula that goes into all the SE process, just wouldn't be right, hope all understand.
However, the players in the Super Elite Group, and there is not many, most of them do know somewhat, but it is hidden to only the Super Elite players, and there has been many pm'ing me about all this as well, but the secretcy must be kept wrapped in a riddle and full of mystique and mystery to all and add wonder to the masses, and well as help and support them to continue to strive to be the very best and demonstrate competency of multi level faceted assets so we can maintain and preserve the pinnacle of Super Elite.
This is not a clan, it is just a collection of super players who love to compete and have fun at the highest levels.
Peace out

Seriously, he plays a lot and he always plays well. We can all learn a little about technique from blitz.
Those that are whining here about points and how they are earned come across as petty.
I salute you Blitz. I am looking forward to future games.
thank you crux

Re: WoW
I don't think you should be shocked at all. See most people will give credit where credit is due, and in your case, yes you deserve to be recognized. But PM'ing people to ask them to come here and congratulate you is as lame as asking for feedback after a game. My point is, even if you hadn't of PM'd half the players on this site, people still would have come here and congratulated you. The fact that you did PM people begging them to come here and post just makes me, and others, NOT want to congratulate you. Do you understand how tacky it is to do what you did?Blitzaholic wrote:the over abundance of all the players in CC coming out, this many, yes, well, that kinda does,

Wow. Here's an idea, how about you come down off that high horse of yours.
It's very cool that he has reached 4000 points. But to PM people asking for them to send you congrats in a thread about you IS tacky, and we are just busting his balls for it. Lighten up bra.

I have seen this happen too frequently for my tastes. Although I should hasten to point out it's done much more often by members themselves rather than by the moderators. Nevertheless, it's probably the case that moderators are properly held to a higher standard. I'm not interested in neutering anyone's expression, but I think it's the case that some posts do seem to generate more heat than light. Longtime members should be able to roll with the punches so to speak, but it does bother me a little when it happens to a new member.AAFitz wrote:Ive seen players ridiculed for making a mistake on their first post, when just providing the info would have been easy enough...probably easier than making them feel stupid actually...Ive seen examples of disrespect at times that are just uncalled for
However, I don't disagree with the thrust of the post, it just seemed to be expressed with more outrage than was necessary. A little more humor would have made the same valid point better.
Cheers,

btw, MB isn't a mod. and I know you can't be talking about me, since you can't show me where I've blasted a noob recently for being a noob. In fact, I've chastised people for that very same behavior... ask anyone I've sent a PM to asking them to lighten up on the noobs. And I spend hours in chat answering noob question after noob question. So get your facts straight or stfu.AAFitz wrote:I'm tacky
Asking people to tell you how great you are is indeed tacky. Blitz didn't need to send those PM's out... plenty of people, including myself, would've congratulated him anyway.

Bootlicker, me? Ive only posted my support in this thread 5 or 6 times...autoload wrote:Yeah, no shit AAFitz. The fact that you are such a bootlicker is even worse than Blitz sending out PM's asking others to glorify him.
Tool.
ive only typed out 6 or 7 pages of positive feedback...posted support for lack 4 or 5 times...posted support for the mods and crew several times...posted in every Generals congratualatory thread there is....at least once.....Does that make me a boot licker?...oh yeah...I guess it does.....
im not a tool though...youll just have to take my word for it
at times regrettably, but not all that often....wicked wrote:like yourself???AAFitz wrote:theres plenty of people who will bring negativity in here.
