Re: The Thing! Day 1
Trying everything i have, even warning town (as only one) that we only have 3 days to win but still, after all my efforts you only wanted to see me as Thing, calling to BT me like crazy?
Even with a super bad plan of wanting to waste a second BT on me? When i never could be the OGT after a "no reaction" test??
"Locked in"??
Fuuuuck me. How are we supposed to win if your town and you think like donkey shite.

Re: The Thing! Day 1
I will say if the vote for anyone is harder to pull off, that might indicate that we are voting for an infected because there would be two less people at least in this round to vote for them assuming infected people obviously wouldn’t want to blood test each other. Could those of you who haven’t voted yet give us an idea on why you are not voting for sonic just yet…
Re: The Thing! Day 1
Chill for now Sonic. Two lynch votes are in and give everyone a chance now to post given we have a BT. There is a lynch to discuss then FT still to play afterwardsSoN!c wrote: Mon Sep 28, 2026 5:10 pmTrying everything i have, even warning town (as only one) that we only have 3 days to win but still, after all my efforts you only wanted to see me as Thing, calling to BT me like crazy?

DDS if Traf misses posting again is he replaced or just given final warning?
Traf, would like to hear from you here as you should no longer be MIA

And just to make sure things are clear since the timing of me coming back to posting, I was busy over the weekend thought still within time frame but got a warning from DDS now so just caught up on things and trying to make some head way for after BT. Will BT Sonic though as I have no qualms with that so we can at least move on to lynch although based on how he's posting would say it'll likely be negative. But would like to hear from the most absentee as well

From homer as well since we are the remaining 3 who have not voted on a BT
Re: The Thing! Day 1
I think they are both in the wagon.SoN!c wrote: Mon Sep 28, 2026 3:11 pm Either the 2 Things are already on my BT wagon (happy its not them) or it needs one of them to show itself now..
I already said Homer and Dev are probably town (with their flood irritation posts) and Dev shows it again here.
If he was one of the Things then he could of said something like "no need to hammer yourself SoN!c"...i'll do it for blabla reasons..
I think Traf, if i would be put to the test now, believe to be town. I would have taken the random math % on lynching Traf D1 as he's awol, (he lied about his "3 days without internet" and you "lynch all liars") anyday as that is what awol players deserve. But i don't think thats a lie in order to masquerade him being a Thing.
Ofc i could be wrong. Still Devante is town in my book. And the FOS is on Hjelp, Charle, Bunny and Loose.
They need to step up and start explaining, contribute with good arguments.

Re: The Thing! Day 1
I, for one, thought it was a good plan partly because you said it was a good plan!SoN!c wrote: Sun Sep 27, 2026 10:46 am So blood test me or Charle i say.
Im clean. But i understand thats my point of view and not town's.
The non-participation of Traf is anti science team whether he is or not and justifies the lynch by all means.
Where do we go from here? I'd prefer Charle to hjelp for a lynch at this point. That's only provided we have a way to off traf during the night. He is not ok and hasn't been for a while.

The Loose plan to BT me and BT me again on D3 if negative.. .
And you were ON the Loosewagon..

Re: The Thing! Day 1
SoN!c wrote: Sun Sep 27, 2026 7:39 am Hjelp has a good argument that town should BT one of the 3 players who played The Thing game before. So since we need to find general agreement why don't we agree we test one of Charle, Traf and me?
CHARLE:
In the first Thing game Charle held the flamethrower, torched the backup vig first then a recruit, but got infected the same night and lost the FT.. Then he lied rather funny about that fact![]()
I believe any OGT who remembered (or looked the original Thing game up) would not Night-0 recruit Charle (too slip-prone in his last game "im the history teacher in a class full of students"). That makes Charle a bad recruit and a better randomized OGT.
So chances are big Charles is either the OGT but never the N0 recruit i say.
The "Main Charle line" in this game is “stop theorizing, lock a random BT in, just quickly & move on.” Where is the plan?
Sounds like an OGT who does not want to give town time to come up with a good plan.
Then he had a fair share of "sow doubt posts" / "keep town in the dark" with his (alledged) memory gaps:
“I can't remember to be honest?” Really?
“Do we lynch everyday and kill someone every night?” Really?
“Does [a blood test] really make you a target for the Thing tonight?”
Also: Charles seems happy that me and Loose eat the thread. That is a red flag unlike Devante / Homer — complaining about flood is normal town irritation, not leadership signs of a cult..
TRAF:
Day 1 is 161 posts. Traf has basically just two:
First post: 21 Sep,: “So i can't remember the math in this setting, we need to torch someone fast or no. how does it work with 10”
That’s the same flavor as Charle: I don’t remember anything about the mechanics of this game??
Second post: 26 Sep, and ofc very convenient right after the host was about to replace him: the famous line "power/internet out for 3 days, old building, sorry" while taking game turns in those same 3 days![]()
![]()
He never followed up with a plan (lynch positives / don’t / BT who). Nothing. He kept utter silence. Either way, town lost days of possible pressure on him. Just the way he likes it. Because you can't read silence..and he knows that.
So both make a good case on why they could test positive, and thus we don't waste a BT by choosing one of them.
I'd say we BT Charle and if he tests hot on Day 1, we lynch him the same day and we don’t get cute with the flamethrower. If negative we start debating who to lynch.
I also invite Charle to come up with good reasons if he doesn't like to be tested himself and wants me or Traf to take the BT instead..
Same goes for Traf ofc.
It wasn’t a bad call, since it was the ”old player”-plan. I put Traf first for BT but there wasn’t an alignment. Then there were an alignment regarding you Sonic. Not to mention that yourself accepted the old player-plan as plausible.SoN!c wrote: Mon Sep 28, 2026 5:41 pm Why they were on a loosewagon that had a clearly bad plan & play by design.
Now, does it mean that we shall abandon the old player-plan?

Can hammer Sonic but don't really feel like he'd be the ideal one to do, would rather do one of the middle of the line players as their the most likely to have been the recruit

But Devante then posted this and I think that this is the case why holding and didn’t dropped the hammer. So I don’t think Devante is infected or OGT.

Can you explain your bad play plan?
BT SoN!c like crazy and even asking to BT me again on D3 if its no reaction on D1? Because if we find only recruits instead of OGT then by math we loose in the end.
You of all people should know the math
Disincentivising or adding a handicap to infecting you night 1 or night 2 is also good.
My vote on you for d3 will stay locked till you plead with me to break the deadlock.

And sonic as for needing to get the og thing not the recruit.
Dont we need to get a lynch right and a flamethrow right 1-2 combination to win?

Re: The Thing! Day 1
Charle and Traf are still my primary suspects - they are old players - but if to drop the old player-plan then
Traf might be mod-killed but not during D1? So is it worth a Traf lynch?
Regarding Charle - have posted.

This will be the mid-player-plan then?Devante wrote: Fri Sep 25, 2026 1:40 pm Great question LC. Only concern is this might be giving the Thing ideas for conversions. Assuming it is not one of them already I would see Charle and LC as the first go to choices based on prior games played but those seem obvious to me so likely would to most, would also put sonic in this category. Traf would be a good pick too but likely unreliable. Annie and bunny would be the offshoots to do the unexpected but pending on who the thing is would be hard to say if they would pay it that way. So for strong players but not obvious choices would come down to Kong or homer, maybe even hjelp but out of those three would say kong would likely be the best recruit so as to come under the radar
Re: The Thing! Day 1
BTW- did DDS posted that SoN!c-test was negative?
Or is it obvious since SoN!c is still playing- DDS can be bust?

Anyway, I will follow your lead for sure.

I would expect the reason for Sonics vote on Hjelp is Hjelp was playing encertainly/confused then landed his vote on Sonic with the bold I call your hand Sonic
And that his was the fourth vote.
Who do you think is a better suspect than you Hjelp?

Re: The Thing! Day 1
I honestly would like Traf to summarise and post something else than to complain that he did not post.
Traf had always good posts in the past, not often, but when he posted it made sense, that's how we know him. But this time is different and I can agree with Sonic's earlier posts about Traf as well, it doesn't seems to be his normal play. Also when Traf was scum with me the last game, he was very absent if you remember correctly.

Re: The Thing! Day 1
Loose’s “who would you recruit D0” question was a trap with no teeth.
With Traf MIA it was never going to get a clean bite.
Things only jump when the whole table is already doing it and they can hide in the pile.
What Things actually care about is simple: stay off the BT.
That’s why I pushed the vote onto me vs Charle. Traf was the obvious lynch name and Charle didn’t have another option really. You could say I forced his hand.
After that I only needed the BT wagon on me to look easy to join. Things would bite.
My read was that Homer, Dev and Traf would stay off it. In past games it’s almost always town that complains about two people eating the thread. Wolves are always happy to let that happen and blend in it seems.
So a busy thread plus a convenient BT target is a good look (a good trap) for them if they just don’t draw extra heat. Hence "the BT trap on me idea"..
Hjelp and Bunny hopped on fast. Annie did too, just in a more elaborate way.
On Traf: if he were OGT, DDS should have replaced him by now by Kingm. An AWOL Thing who only does night actions and lurks is not how this game is hosted.
Charle is absolutely right that extra silence is often a Wolf tell on Traf, because he knows as wolf talking gets him into trouble fast, but here he is also breaking the 3-day post rule. And like Homer said, who recruits Traf with this attendance record? I still give Traf a small random chance on the FT being a Thing, but with all that I’m putting him town for now.
Either my BT trap is a total bust or it's right on the money. Hjelp is the biggest crab (biggest suspect) that landed in the crab fishing pod. But a good catch i'd say.
With Homer, Dev, Traf and me town the Things are in the BT wagon were i expected them to be with Kong being the wild card.

Re: The Thing! Day 1
Sonic, why are Homer and Dev town? and Traf for that matter? Just because they did not vote on the BT? Do you honestly think all the guilty ones would jump on the BT wagon? I personally would not, for the exact same reason as you cleared them to be town now. I have never voted for a lynch on the school game when I was scum.
What put the red flags up for me was when people jumped on your lynch wagon before we had a BT.
Why I voted for the BT? So that we could get a result, we have you cleared now, which is good for town and scum are on the back foot. And even more so, because you are active, as Loose rightfully said, a cleared Sonic is very good for town at the moment.

Whatever we have caught in the pod trap we sure caught a lot of food for tought. Now town needs to discuss
