I have seen that image with some other photobucket pictures elsewhere, but It was only that 1 place, and haven't seen it otherwise tho I'm sure a lot more people use it

You're probably using FF4, which has a problem with popup windows. Once FF gets this problem fixed, chipv will work on the new Map Rank. For now, I reccommend that you install an older version of FireFox:

Something is wrong, since map rank is telling me that I have 383 Quads kills on the start a game page, but if I actually Map Rank myself, it says I have 408

In fact, all of the counters in the start a game page are off by a few numbers...

I just installed Map rank, love it, especially for medal hunter like me, sure takes out a lot leg work for me. Love the icons beside the user-name great idea! next step would be nice if you could click on the icons like "ratting" and link you up to page with the rating left by that person or received.

I have 77 pages of ratings left, some people don't like the rating i left and want me change it, sometimes i do; but it's hard to search through all those pages to find it. Other then that, this is a great app, keep up the good works guys!

Once you play against that person again, you can re-rank them. Have them join one of your games or something.

the numbers shown on the start a game page are what they were when you last mapranked yourself. not what they currently are.

Hey Sniper. It is not. I have the same issues. It's not an issue with Map Rank though, it's an issue with FF4.

map rank for random medal? its these implemented?

I've started to use Map Rank lately (reverted to Firefox 3.6 to get it to work, by the way), and I have a few questions:
On the Classic (escalating games) I've collected 2120 points according to Map Rank, giving me the rank of a Brigadier. My win/loss ratio is "130 from 493" (does that mean 130 wins and 493 losses, or 130 wins out of 493 games in all? If the last, the heading of the column is off).

Doesn't Map Rank then take into account what general rank I have? I mean, I play a lot of different maps, and in other maps I tend to lose quite a lot of games, keeping my overall rank down to sergeant. Let's say another player has double my rank. If his strength on this map is the same as mine, then he would tend to get a much lower rank, even perhaps be rated as a cook because he is so strong, so that his losses would count much higher than his wins. To me it seems the rank is actually rather misleading, although it's nice to see that one is graded a Brigadier, of course.

Is there any way to get some indication on how my strength would be relative to another player, when you don't take into account his and my general rank? I cannot see how this can be done, as I may have played a lot of weak players and he a lot of strong players, so he could in fact still be stronger than me even if I am counted a Brigadier and he a Cook on just this map.

Where have you been?? Great to see you post. Doesn't matter. Map Rank and all those scripts opening windows fill it in with javascript and it is that mechanism which is broken.
