the way I read CC Ladder v3.0 page , I can challenge iAmCaffeine to ladder battle ... so I did-----------uh huh huh--------->>>

Ok...I cleaned up the old quotes here...

Got the match against both dhallmeyer and t4 recorded...

Got the challenge to Elric recorded as well...

You can not get automatic DIBS against ETG...he is not the current #1 and you cannot double jump either (Rule #14)...

You can call DIBS though, with the understanding that if you lose your current challenge to ETG that you will also lose DIBS. IF you beat ETG or tamaynet beats ETG, your DIBS would be valid.

Just so everyone is clear on this, let me make the ruling now.

I will allow MGSteve to have his DIBS to play for the #1 spot. His original challenge came BEFORE ElricTheGreat won the #1 spot, so MGSteve is currently only able to attain the #3 rank if he wins this challenge. (ETG was #3 when the challenge was made)

IF MGSteve beats ETG in this challenge, he can then have his DIBS and play for the #1 spot.

If MGSteve loses his challenge to ETG, he also loses his DIBS for the #1 spot. Rule #10 comes into play.

I am allowing a secondary DIBS for the time being if another player within the Top 4 wishes to claim it. You will get this DIBS if MGSteve LOSES his challenge to ETG. (Rule #24 being used here, folks).
