On the southern part of Florida, there is a little peninsula jutting off to the left on the bottom of the territory that shouldn't be there I don't think.

With the home lands, shouldn't the French port be on the Atlantic Ocean instead of the Mediterranean Sea, and the same with the Spanish?
Just being logical because it would of added days to the journey..

That's key west, it shouldn't be connected to Florida but I don't want to completely get rid of it.lanyards wrote:On the southern part of Florida, there is a little peninsula jutting off to the left on the bottom of the territory that shouldn't be there I don't think.

As for the port size, I assume you are talking about the landing point symbols. I'd actually like somewhere between the size they are now and the old ones.
Anyway...
To-Do
- Large Map
Make Legend Better If Necessary
Send the equator line below South America territories
Make the equator line lighter
Separate Key West visibly from Floirda
Make all the European ports be in the ocean.
Fix Britain Typo
Maybe make the 'ports' somewhere between the size they are now and the old size.
Answer Concerns (always)

French and Inuit colors are very close to my sad eyes... they'd be fine if they weren't borders.
"For every two territories held with a colony +2" - is that only if you own the homeland of that colony? And how do the tribes ever collect additional bonuses? Because the Inuit start three terits away from the nearest colony territories, and they don't get the landing site bonuses.
Worst start in my opinion: Comanches. Four terits away from any colony teritory, and their homeland is the only one to border a port... just waiting to be taken out.
Can you include your plan for how many armies you want each neutral to start with?
Homeland - you going with one word or two?
The equator - seems like a throw-away graphic element. Make it clear or don't make it at all.
old stuff:
"recieve" - receive
"landing Point" - Landing Point
"territoriy" - territory

In each empire inside the new world every 2 territories is +1. The natives get the most of this bonus, but they don't get a landing point auto-deploy for obvious reasons. If a native owns all their land and a Europe county owns all of its land their number more per turn is the same, although the Natives have more freedom with theirs.
Comanches were the most powerful in my playtests, which concerned me slightly (although it may have just been the way I played everyone). Spain was the least.
We had that plan but haven't been keeping it last page for a while, I'll go find it...
Old Map With Neutrals

Homeland is one word, if you see places where it is two let me know.
Equator and Colours are gimil level concerns so we'll have to wait on those. I don't care if the equator is there or not, and I've wanted French to be green and the one we have Green now to be Blue since the beginning.
Noted the spelling errors.

Maybe switch French and Dutch colors.

Make sure homeland is one word everywhere.
Fix Britain, receive, territory, and Landing Point typos.

Make sure you are looking at the latest, the only places I see Home Land split up are on the map for space reasons, which we can probably correct by redrawing borders if we need to.
... Aztec Homeland has pretty much no reason for being split like that... That's annoying.
If we make the Dutch Orange what do we make the Portuguese?

A ha, my confusion all along has been the use of the word "colonies." In my mind a colony is a territory under the control of an overseas power... the English colonized the east coast of America, the Spanish colonized central America, the French colonized northern Africa, etc. All of the territory around the Inuit "Homeland" territory is, according to the legend, the Inuit "colony," and thus accrues the same bonus as British colonial territory. Seems a it odd to call the rest of Mexico Aztec colonies - perhaps there's a better word?Coleman wrote:In each empire inside the new world every 2 territories is +1. Huh, I see that in the old map the legend said "empire" - this may be better.
Do you have to also hold the Homeland to collect that bonus?
The reason we started using Colony was because the Europe homelands don't count for part of the 2 for +1 and the Native homelands do.
Although I thought that we started having both in the legend, which I didn't like. Honestly I don't know what's going on right now, I'm very tired.

yeah, I didn't realize that either. So basically it's +1 for holding two new world territories of a like color. Or +1 for holding two territories in the same new world empire.Coleman wrote:The reason we started using Colony was because the Europe homelands don't count for part of the 2 for +1 and the Native homelands do.
