sym is not above mocking people's sexual orientation anyways, so he'll actually feel right at home being attacked, all the while loudly proclaiming that he doesn't actually like it.riskllama wrote:sym, may i direct you to Global Chat? it would be a whole new theatre of operations for you. you could go toe to toe with catstevens until one of you literally falls asleep at the keyboard.Symmetry wrote:

*DISCLAIMER : put on your helmet and kneepads, tho : your sexual orientation WILL be attacked*

Was the survey just a red herring? If everyone thinks there is a need for a LBGT mod then there is a need... but if everyone votes there is no you'll just say it proves everyone is wrong on homophobia is clearly rampant on CC, on account of the denial here that there is even a need? Not trying to get you going again, but I think you should respect the results of your own survey and drop the idea. More people voted 'kittens are cute' than voted for Measure-S on this ballot.
I think it would be healthy to have a mod who identifies as LBGT personally(and I highly doubt there is anything currently standing in the way of this), but I think I and almost everyone else DO NOT think we need a mod for LBGT issues.
I haven't even voted in it yet.
I'm more interested in talking to people than polling. Does that answer your question?
Yes I think it confirms you are indeed trolling, and have no real interest in listening to all the people who took the time to answer your poll like myself, and many of us also took the time to express our thoughts.
Re: A mod for LGBT issues?
Surely the fact that I'm discussing the issue with you disproves your argument. If you genuinely think I'm trolling by talking to you, and disagreeing with you, I can't really help that.mookiemcgee wrote:Symmetry wrote:The poll was for people who weren't interested in discussing the issue. Your just perpetuating a conversation that should have been over after you saw the results of your own poll. I think your behavior in starting this conversation and then choosing to ignore the input you recieve from the community matches the def of trolling pretty well. Can we have that debate instead? Is Sym a troll?Symmetry wrote:Surely the fact that I'm discussing the issue with you disproves your argument. In Internet slang, a troll is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments, by posting inflammatory,[1] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a forum) with the deliberate intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[2] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion,[3] often for their own amusement.

If you want to stay on topic, I'm happy to do so. If you want to continue trolling me, start a new thread. I would prefer the former

You're right. I used to defend you, you piece of shit. I used to back you up. Used to think you were a decent person who was always being attacked for no reason. But then I actually paid attention to you, the things you write, who you really are. And you showed yourself to be a worthless worm, who twists people's words, and outright lies about people. So yes, I don't like you. You're a scumbag, and I don't like scumbags. You're on a level with xeno, a waste of space, and a major detriment to these forums.Symmetry wrote:.iAmCaffeine wrote:Preach.Serbia wrote:That question is beyond debate. sym is nothing but a troll, and quite a boring, uninteresting one at that.

I am a man who believes in respecting his fellow man regardless of how they self identify, a man of acceptance, and a man actually believes in what he writes. I am not a man who takes it lightly when another man uses the plight of of disenfranchised communities as a tool to frustrate other well meaning people for his own amusement, which is what I personally believe you are doing here. The LBGT folks I know would be ashamed to see what you are doing here, belittling their real struggles in the real world just to troll a busted ass website and wind people up for your own amusement. No hard feeling though, that's just my opinion, how was your Monday Sym?Symmetry wrote:Mookie, are you really gonna go with the troll? Perhaps you might have misunderstood me? I'm not the monster you make me out to be, nor am I a demonic figure out to get the disenfranchised.
