Mesdames et Messieurs, I simply had to add my personal touch to the first course, as I'm sure you understand. I hope to see all of you eventually involved in the next dishes, for the finest food is communal and has a little bit extra of someone on each plate. Please, let us all play our roles in this tantalizing occasion to their fullest potential. Bon appetit!

And yes my friend, I am a part of the evening as much as anyone of you is, and I've been assured that no harm will come of any confusion you might have had about that.

So i say we dont know if kong is house, circle or 3rd party.

Therefore task at hand is to get the patron, who could be kong but could equally likely be any of the og 10 including me.
I dont see easily how either of zulu or katy can be patron, unless kong has foregone patron to be a 3p chef. If its his passion to be a chef good luck to him, that soup tastes just like a can of tomatoes boiled for two minutes. (Wouldnt put it past kong to have spat in the soup come to think of it.)

Kong Ming is not the Patron. Sorry if this was unclear.

Now it's stated black on white: No more hints will be given after this! .

It's up to you all to question others and deduce the truth!

Even more confused now. So Kong was not replaced, he is in the game as the chef, part of the flavour, but is still a player in the game. But at least confirmed to not be the patron. So the died as house was just misdirection then? Either house, circle or 3p now. And we are looking for 3 scum correct, based on the traitors game and hjelps analysis?

My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined.

The first "circle has made their selection" before last two guests? Who cares! Kong died and that made a new card come out? Who cares! Clues in or not in the AI slop? Who cares!

Pray tell why I even try.

My dear Annieh, your disappointment is duly recorded, and your ruined day has been entered into the ledger beside your six previous husbands.

On the other hand: the main course has not yet arrived, the Patron has not yet been named, and it would be a terrible waste of a perfectly good ruined day to leave before the pudding.

*Bunny 🐰 happy to know Kong avoided falling into the soup gives it a shot. Its cooled a bit at this point and has considerable amounts of crackers in it but it’s quite good. She finishes her bowl and takes a look around the room carefully considering what she is seeing and hearing. She notices Dev acting 🎭 unusually confident and pretty happy. He is now sitting with Katyssis. Bunny ponders. She takes her watch from her pocket checks the time and the time on the wall. She brings it up to her ear to see if it’s ticking, it is not. She gives it a wind, sets it puts it back in her pocket. Again she looks over at Dev and Katyssis thinking ‘is this the kind of attitude a person building his secret club would have. Afterall tonight they recruit don’t they.. hmm’ Bunny continues to look around the table. She gives a kind nod to Zulu for the postive note. She looks over toward Annie next to her directly now that Dev has moved away. And continues to assess, when her eyes land on Loose its clear he and possibly a few other table members have been watching this rather public assessment of the members. A couple heads tilt to the side as if to ask well what have you learned. Knowing full well her expressions are nearly easier to be read then her very words she directs her gaze back towards her bowl and lifts it up towards Kong’s direction and states*
“Could I please have some more please. It really is quite good. “

Frowning because from the similarity in sentiment of posts in the last 24 hours he'd become aware hed become more ragianlike.

And frowning at bunny because hed become more ragianlike, canon addressed bunny.

"Well bunny im not quite sure why you now suspect devante whose bald patch you were stroking so affectionately not so long ago?"

And still frowning for good measure canon turned to devante, "but suspect you bunny does, so who has raised the hair (singular) on your pate?"

Ragian wrote: Tue Oct 20, 2026 4:02 am Don't you dare try to win me over with a Friends reference! That's foul play! REF!!!

I haven't read The Thing because I wasn't playing and, despite what people in my community say, I don't have that much time on my hands. Would you not find it weird if someone asked a lot of questions for people to answer if that person didn't offer up a stance on their own?
Sorry Rag. you're right, i shouldn't have just bypassed the first part of my question. i did so thinking nothing has changed from The Thing, but i overlooked the fact that we have a few dinner guests who weren't part of the antarctic expedition.

to summarize my post there, we had brought up the idea that we need to think strategically who would be a likely N0 target. who would we have picked if we were in the position to do so? my thinking was it would be someone that is good at the game but wouldn't draw suspicion as an obvious target? i landed on annieh as my most likely suspect, and i stand by that. she is a solid player who is very active, and as far as i can tell, has never garnered any real attention as a possible scum in any game she's been in. my other primary choice in that game was sonic (he draws attention, but also has a knack for sussing out scum, and i would want that on my side) but of course that won't be the case here.

i had ruled out charle and LC because their erratic play in the last couple of games was sure to bring suspicion on them if it continued here. i would also rule out new players (zulu, katyssis). they would fly under the radar, but i don't think the patron would have confidence in them to join the circle.
Loose Canon wrote: Tue Oct 20, 2026 6:26 pm I want to hear who king, hjelp, homer and charle think is mosy likely to be the patron
i honestly have no idea right now. king's silence definitely raises suspicion, but i myself am proof of that not really being bullet proof, as i've had suspicion on me in almost every game we've played for that very reason.
i don't think it's rag, but his claims of not being smart enough for this game make me think it might be a smoke screen. he's been in many games, and nothing i've seen from him would make me think that, so i'm not buying it here.
other than that, i don't have much of a read on others.

although.. some suspicion on bunnie and charle for strangely focusing on the pictures. i thought bunnie might just be joking and adding flavour.. but charle, come on.. sonic wouldn't put a clue about who the patron and secretary are in a picture like that.

because i had promised last game to post at least once a day so as to avoid the scrutiny i get every game from being silent early, and my day isn't done yet :)

but seriously.. i tend to log in to CC every night. sometimes on weekends i'm on during the day, but i generally log in around midnight pacific time. that's when i take my turns, that's when i catch up on the day's happenings in mafia.

See, this is where I feel under-qualified. You guys are talking about who would be the most likely to be the patron. What are you on about? Aren't roles distributed randomly?

Thanks for bringing me up to (Antarctic) speed, homer. That was very helpful. I agree that Annie would be a good choice, but as far as I'm aware, she hasn't played a scum role yet. I'd be worried of a possible change of play style from Annie if she were targeted N0. Personally, I'd go for hjelp, I think. Not only has he played on both sides of the table (with great success), his play style is somewhat different from mine (in that he has a brain that does math and all that). I'd want that in the team. (Other choices could be kong or homer, but both play similarly to me, I'd say). Lastly, there's a nice bridge between Denmark and Sweden, so we would be able to join forces physically, too <3
